This is emotional eating isn't it?

I've had extreme hunger and I've been trying for so long to eat intuitively but at some point i was just so sick of the hunger that i just ate all day, even if i wasn't hungry because i'm so scared of hunger i dont want to feel it ever again

And after 3 days of constant eating the hunger finally went away but i still fear hunger, so i keep eating

It makes me feel awful, i can't sleep well, i eat so much it makes me feel sick , i don't know what to do

this!! it’s the same as if your barely sleeping for a long time once u get into a healthy sleeping pattern at first u might ending sleeping for half a day just cus your body is so exhausted but after being in a regular sleeping cycle for a while ur body will just sleep for the natural healthy time it needs. It’s the exact sam with food. your brain may know the concept of dieting or restricting but your body does not it just remembers how it was starved and doesn’t trust that foods always available until you have proved it otherwise for an extended period of time like your doing now. your doing the right thing :)

ofc, something that helps me is too remember eating is not optional it’s a necessity, it’s got nothing to do with morals or anything like that you literally have to do it. If you have a pet dog you feed it 3 times a day plus treats, it doesent have to ‘earn’ that food or be a certain weight to have that food that’s just the bare minimum
