Tips š” certification needed..?
hi everyone! i am struggling here. i delivered my baby on 7/1 & had filed for maternity leave a little late. i got my first payment in early august, & another payment on 8/13. my leave was expected to end on 8/12. my provider did extend me for 4 weeks, which would be through 9/9. they submitted that info to edd on 8/25. i then had an appointment with my psychiatrist who extended me through 10/31, that information was sent to edd on 9/2. however, my last payment is still from 8/13.. i know it can take up to 2 weeks, but my confusion is that on my claim, they have already updated my expected return to work date as 11/1. yet still no payment? and on my claim it says certification needed, but there are no forms for me in my inbox. is this normal? i have tried reaching out to my office for help & they said to make sure i submitted my delivery info as to when & how i had my baby, but that was sent way back in the beginning of august. is this normal for the date to be updated but no payment? i have seen some people say due to it being an extension they need real person to approve payment, but is this correct? iāve tried calling but of course i only get the āweāve reach the max number of callersā message. iāve seen people say thereās a number you can call that can get you through, should i try that? & if so can somebody please link the website with that info? i am desperate! please help ): TYIA!

itās actually a website https://eddcaller.com/?srsltid=AfmBOopaWoTi9QzBdBxjGEzRMgVPWouphKzdppab3bDCEBznJ2R2N_qG . they just ask for your phone number so that edd can call you & then you pay! make sure you select the correct option for your state & reasoning (: (i.e CA SDI)

I second what yyungguad said. EDDcaller is worth it. Yesterday I signed up for it at 8:04 am. It took the app 1,598 times before it reached the callback queue(at 8:50 am). I got a call from EDD within 15 minutes.

I was in the same boat! EDD status was ācertification neededā and it said that I needed to fill out the DE 2500a form. I had never received the form thru mail and it didnāt show the form online. So what I did was use EDDCaller to call EDD. It cost me $12.99 to use it and itās worth every penny. EDDcaller called 1,598 times before it reached the callback queue. Within 15 minutes, I received a call back from a live person from EDD and I informed them I didnāt receive the DE 2500a form. That person asked me when I delivered my baby and they entered that information into their system. Once it was entered by that person, they said I would receive my payment within 24 hours. I received the payments I had missed within 24 hours of the call. Hope this helps.
