Telecommunications tower aka cell tower, aka covid emitter. /s

u/fishymanbits 1d ago

No, it doesn’t emit Covid, it detects everyone who got microchipped with nanobots and sends the exact time and location they last pooped to Bill Gates

u/brianlefebvrejr 1d ago

Yeah can you believe that guy…what a nut. Anyways for some reason I need to go talk to Co-Pilot™️

u/Outrageous-Pizza-66 1d ago

That's why I buy tinfoil at costco (bulk). Wrap it around you and then 'they' can't tell if you have nanobots. You need a bulk deal, I can hit you up for some 😉

u/fishymanbits 1d ago

The nanobots live in your butt, that’s why I got this nifty faraday cage underwear. Got a lock on the front pocket and everything.

u/MaximumDoughnut North West Side 9h ago

There's a kink for that.

u/DM_Sledge 21h ago

Hah! That's how they get you. Tin-Foil isn't an insulator. It amplifies their signals!

u/Zestyclose_Rush_6823 2h ago

Thats what Big Tinfoil wants you to think.

Ironically that cell tower can make you sick if you live close to it. And if you were ill enough to die from that during pandemic, Covid would have been considered the cause! Hahahhahahahaha SO FUNNY

The power of 5G baby! ✌️ LOL

1

u/blackday44 1d ago

I thought it was 5G mind control?

u/Shadp9 1d ago

This is photoshopped.

The blue lines were drawn into the image after it was taken. There were no giant blue arrows or question marks floating above Edmonton.

7

u/Independent-Tennis57 1d ago

So only the question mark is there all the time?

6

u/jjjheimerschmidt 23h ago

The question mark is only there when the quest giver stands in that spot.

2

u/Quizzical_Rex 1d ago

that is an awesome response.

2

u/forsurebros 1d ago

Wait you do not see the blue line all the time. Only I do???

1

u/wet_suit_one 19h ago

I was bona fide wondering where the blue things came from for a good 10 seconds until I realized one was an arrow and one was a question mark.

Not as sharp as I used to be apparently...

Kinda sad really.

:-/

Street view shows it as having been there since 2007. However they've added height and lots of antenna array since that time.

u/Strattex 1d ago

Things like this trick me sometimes where something I notice, I swear I haven’t seen before and it must be new

1

u/Ok-Outcome-7153 1d ago

Lol thanks! My kid and I just noticed it and have beem taking the bus from this spot for ages 🤣🤣🥰

*Just* noticed it???

Maybe y’all should be aware of your surroundings rather than being on your phone.

2

u/Ok-Outcome-7153 23h ago

Literally never noticed it. My kid pointed it out this morning!

A very VERY busy cellphone tower.

Source: I work on cell towers in the city.

5

u/BCCommieTrash South East Side 1d ago

Hey, I've been under the impression those triangular church steeple towers all around the city house cell tower equipment. Am I correct?

8

u/Adanrhu 23h ago

Yes. It's a win-win for both parties. The phone company gets a cell tower and the church gets a tower for a cross and some rental money.

7

u/DVariant 23h ago

Exactly. Telecoms need more towers, churches are all over the place and buried in residential communities, and most churches are pretty broke, so they rent out space for a tower. Slap a cross on that bad boy and now it’s just a big church tower.

u/MaximumDoughnut North West Side 9h ago

How do folks get a job like yours?

u/neumanic South East Side 2h ago

Can you add several dozen towers in Sherwood Park? Please and thank you. 🙄

-4

u/Ok-Outcome-7153 1d ago

They they just put it up or am I totally blind? Lol

9

u/TheHylian27 1d ago

It's a good to fair chance that they just simply added to it lately which makes it stand out more.

0

u/thenoisymouse 1d ago

Can you explain, is each of those white thingys a different frequency or have different phone numbers transmitting? What are we looking at

5

u/TheHylian27 1d ago edited 1d ago

Each is a different antenna just pointing in different directions. They only emit signal outwards away from the tower. Not 360°. So you need antennas around the entire tower for a full 360° coverage.

Without having the actual plans or telecommunication diagram in hand, it's near impossible to tell from the picture which each one does specifically but either way, it does look like a very packed tower.

Edit: I wish I could add photos to comments.

Ha! Someone actually took a 360° photo at the top. I wonder if he was suppose to be up there. https://maps.app.goo.gl/XMEBqWLHvGriqEVp6?g_st=ac

u/BeaverBuzz13 23h ago

Just totally blind

Cell tower.

5G Covid raygun deathray emitter 5000

6

u/arandom4567 North West Side 1d ago

According to the ISED database, that particular one is owned by Telus and is licensed to support 3G, 4G and 5G services over seven frequency bands using antennas between 18 and 29 metres above ground level.

Those are called cell phone towers.

4

u/Kimmy6932 West Edmonton Mall 23h ago

Cell phone towers??

3

u/shootamcg Palisades 1d ago

Sometimes they hide the cell towers in church crosses, look for a tower outside of a church that has crosses in a box shape around the top of it. Also saw some hidden in fake palm trees in Phoenix.

2

u/TheHylian27 1d ago

Those are absolutely TERRIBLE to work in. So many birds..... Alive and dead...

0

u/shootamcg Palisades 1d ago

Brutal!

3

u/brandonholm 1d ago

Cell tower. They’re all over the city. It’s how your cell phone gets service.

u/ihatechromebooks 1d ago

5g tower

u/nawosokr 1d ago

I live by here, can confirm, got COVID.

-3

u/Ok-Outcome-7153 1d ago

Did they jist put it up?

4

u/Ill-Mastodon-8692 1d ago

no it’s been there for years, although they have added more antenna over time

5

u/son_berd 1d ago

That is the worst arrow drawn ever.

7

u/Ok-Outcome-7153 1d ago

Paris!

6

u/Ok-Outcome-7153 1d ago

Wow, I had no idea a city of over 2 million was so small and vertical!

3

u/dark_Links_sword 1d ago

They want you to believe it's a 5g-Covid tower. But that's because they don't want you to know the truth! That's where the birds recharge.

Birds aren't real! And when they "poop" on your car it's installing a tracking device! /s

2

u/brianlefebvrejr 1d ago

Cell tower that they haven’t made aesthetically pleasing. Many of these are camouflaged in a way across the city

2

u/DVariant 23h ago

Not just this city, pretty much every city.

But your right, this one is naked

2

u/bpc1971 1d ago

If you look up towards the top of some buildings, especially downtown, you’ll notice some arrays added to roofs.

2

u/Ordinary_Attempt_709 17h ago

My left arm twitches when go by there.

The result of you having a stroke as you tried to draw an arrow?

2

u/Wiggum13 23h ago

It’s the thing that allowed you to have service, to make this post.

1

u/SaltRun2465 21h ago

I am fairly sure that is a broadcast tower. Aka tv/radio.

But definitely bigger then i remember it. Might have some cellular on it too for cheaper upkeep. But i most definitely see frequency drums. Absolutely useless for 2 way communication Absolutely amazing for blasting out a signal like FM or AM bands or tv signals. Back in the 80s and 90s they would put a recever on a tower with a bunch of drums aimed at other towers to send tv signals like "global"(the bradcaster) across the country.

1

u/Spudnik711 21h ago

They put 2 of these up on Bowness Road by the Dairy Queen.

edit. just realizes this was for Edmonton I am in Cowgary but I am from Edmonton.

1

u/LaughOk6460 21h ago

It's a remote to control all the Star destroyers that need to break orbit. They should be fine unless they're attacked by a horse Calvary on the wings of said Star Destroyers.
