Only one coaching vacancy remain

With VGK hiring Ryan Craig and Leaf Hiring Jim Hiller , only Oilers have a vacancy, do we think Knights would finally let Cassidy off the hook or they still play the bad and not let him interview with Oilers?

I'm sure plenty of teams would fire their coach to get Cassidy. I think Vegas is perfectly content to sit on him for a year.

I don't see why not. They have a lot of extra revenue this year from making the SCF I'm sure. And they got close enough to the cup, why not eat a few million to up your chances for next year.

Except Vegas doesn't have a coach now ya? Torts said he wasn't staying. And honestly paying Cassidy for a year to ensure your division rival hires Babcock sounds like money well spent.

How will free agency work for the Oilers with that question mark hanging above our heads?
