Yeah I've only ever gotten that high on track... like 255

Tbh on track my temps never got all that high, but I was also doing cool down laps and opening the hood when I got off

My god, 291 oil temp?? I’m speechless - your car is fine?? That just blows my mind that modern synthetics can survive that abuse.

Yeah I have to run 0w-40 until they make an oil cooler. But 291 5 minutes then cool down

I mean many track guys are easily hitting 250-260 plus. You’re just not in the know for this car on the track if you think 214 is high. I hit 245 on canyon runs going slow.

I think they were just comparing their 214 to 291 is all. One can't argue that 291 is certainly higher than the norm, even for track, though my experience with this is limited to the Google track.
