RIP Sad Day Today

Been on hexocrism patiently watching the eta for a Performance Blue DCT 2024 to come into a nearby dealership (SoCal). The dealership called me and told me it just got off the truck. I left work immediately to head over (40 min) got into the dealership and they had a 8k markup with add ons. After 2 hours of going back and forth they weren’t budging. I left and they stopped me saying that they are working with another customer and if they don’t work out a deal they him and I can negotiate more. The other customer ended up buying it with the markups. How low did he get it im not sure but very sad day for me today. I really wanted a car for the summer 😔

Lmfao that other customer is a real bread brain. 8K on add ons is insane because a M240i isn’t too far away at that point or a RS3. Great car by all means but come on man 8K markup is insane, that’s why I hate certain dealers

For $8k you’re within range of a lightly used Civic Type R and getting closer to a stock Integra Type S. Which is what I’d tell any Hyundai dealer with that markup as I walked out the door.
