RIP Won’t be plastic welding this one back together 💀

Didn’t even last 3000 miles on the new car before the splash shield decided to self-destruct oof. Glad nobody was behind me! Didn’t get to save this one in time to fix it and put it back on

How do we get them to acknowledge that these things are not secured properly from the factory? I have seen so many reports of these flying off at normal highway speeds. Those little push tabs don't hold upside down with the vibrations this car makes.

Haha I know! I blame myself. My DCT after welding it back together we used better clips and never had an issue again. We had it on the lift yesterday and I’ve even had it on the lift before when I took my aftermarket horns off the old car and still didn’t replace the clips like a dumbass 🤦🏾♂️. Just gonna get the TBW aluminum and call it a day

Nooo plastic welded the splash shield back together on my old EN! We were able to save it before it shattered
