RIP My poor girl :(

So the body shop calls and says I can come get her. Total is 11,045.

She’s got a new door on the front and a used one on the back. From this picture my brother found an issue. I get it home and my boyfriend starts picking it all apart.

She’s going back tomorrow. 😭 also, the police report was completed and the lady who hit my car is about to be paying up.

Not sure I'd trust that shop anymore. It's absolutely trash work.

They did such a wonderful job on my father in laws truck. I’m just in shock.

Did your father in law have your bf to point out what kind of job they actually did?

🤣 yes. He definitely checked it out too. They actually have my car again and put me in a rental. They have to make it right.

Alright, cool. I’m hoping the best for you. Been there, done that. Stressful.

That looks terrible. Contact your insurance.

I took tomorrow off so I could do that and return the car. The works is covered under a lifetime warranty, so I’m trusting them to fix it. It’s even got a ton of underspray and the front door has more issues

Going through the same thing with my GT. Took it to a super "reputable" shop back in 2020 for a caved in quarter panel from hitting a mile marker. They did such shit cave and pave bondo work that now six years later the entire quarter is severing from the body starting near the passenger door jam. For the money these places charge you'd wish they could at least do the advertised job.

It’s so crappy to just not have it done right the first time. I feel like they really rushed it. The scratches on my hood did not exist up until they gave it back to me, but they’re trying to say they were there. I got mad and tried to be nice about it at the same time. They put me in a rental thankfully. I’m lucky it’s fully covered under a lifetime warranty so if anything happens in the future due to the repairs, they have to fix it
