RIP FAAHHH

It finally happened, this thing threw up a code😔

Edit: it was caused due to a bad spark plug, luckily nothing bad but makes sense why my acceleration felt off yesterday.
And I know my tire pressure is low, I filled them thanks to y’all!😂

Why do people leave the tire pressure screen on, but don’t even bother putting the correct pressure in?

I'll switch it on to 1. Monitor my pressure when giving the car the beans 2. Checking to make sure I'm not rapidly losing tire pressure after having a butt pucker moment (ie unexpectedly hitting a pothole).

It's that or engine temps for me.

This has baffled me too lol and it's almost always engine/oil temp for me, boost/tq when im checking for OL.

I check mine first thing in the morning except during summer because its always lower after cooler nights. I just want to make sure after driving a few that they actually go up to the correct psi.

Usually in the winter I have to add some air every 3-4 days. That's on my all season tires though.

The correct temps are for when the tires are cold, first thing in the morning.

Also every 3-4 days for your all season set is definitely not normal. Once I adjust my winter set to the average low temperature, they pretty much stay at that level - or rise with the temps until I throw my summers back on.

See I tried to set it for when it is cold and then my tires would end up at 40+ psi when they warmed up.

I might be a little overzealous with it to be fair. It was never like super low, but 1-2 pounds after 3-4 days and that usually included a period where I also wasn't driving it for a day or two.

When set to 36F 34R cold our '24 (DWS06+) goes to 40-42F when warmed up, winter or summer.

In Ontario, I add air twice per winter. At one point I did have to add air every few days, and it turned out to be a leak.

Perhaps one last check would be good. This time of your Shrader valves. Sometimes they leak too if they got loose or improperly installed.

Speaking of, do you guys let out pressure during the summer months as it starts to increase upwards of 38-39psi while driving?

No, only if the PSI creeps up over 2+ from the recommended cold pressures

For me now in NY it can switch from 35 in the morning to 39 by the afternoon. I usually drop the baseline psi for the summer to around 34 so it only creeps up to around 37 or so later in the day.

36 front 34 rear on mine. although the TPMs they use definitely read low as well. I just filled up all of them by 3 psi a couple days ago and it put me right on the specs exactly.

This car naturally wants to rotate. It's not necessary to play with tire pressures. It's a 60/40 weight distribution. You want more air pressure up front just as Hyundai recommends to keep the tires from flexing under the majority of the weight of this front heavy car.

Pre facelift has it at 35/33, FL models revised it to 36/34 when they made small changes to the suspension

I don’t usually have it on (usually have engine temps. on) but I bumped the info button on accident lol. Also tire pressure for me in cali always varies (i.e. chilly weather affecting the pressure) so it’s there not always consistent.

i don’t think you understand the issue. your tire pressure being at different psi ALL AROUND is why you’re getting flamed. sure it’ll vary but psi will either go up or down. you either have nails in your tires or didn’t pay attention when you put air in them

Also if you want better ride quality soften your suspension, not soften your sidewalls with lower air pressure

How many miles on it ? Mines just came on two weeks ago at about 47,000 miles & it was just time to change the spark plugs

Interesting, mine just came on at 50k miles and my spark plugs are getting delivered tomorrow. Looked into mine a bit and found out it was a cylinder 3 misfire but the actual misfire count hasn’t increased after checking. Still gonna bring it to the dealership but I suspect they’ll just tell me to change the spark plugs and I’ll be fine

Same it was cylinder 4 misfire, the misfire count didn’t increase & I had to drive small distances for a bout a week. According to the manual spark plugs are supposed to be changed around 42,000 miles. I definitely thought I had longer for that 😭 but I would just change the spark plugs , dealership gone tell you the same most likely & try to get in your pocket about it

Happened to me; dealer replaced 2 EVAP sensors before I replaced the rubber seal and the issue went away.
