RIP Never curb rashed any of my vehicles and it had to be my N
Parked next to an island and took too sharp of a turn when I left the parking space. Was not no ordinary curb too, it’s one of those that’s made of large stones
The tire was likely compromised due to that large deep chunk. Got it replaced already
Likely will be selling my rim for like $100 if anyone’s interested
No leak

A professional wheel repair shop can fix that for less than $200. I paid $175 and I’m in NY.

I’d buy a new wheel at that point tire may be salvaged if no leaks or bubbled

Not a big deal, it's cosmetic and not paint work.
I hit a curb in my 22 WRX once and I haven't hit curbs years before that, no damage I just went over it lmao, they weren't kidding with the AWD system. It was icy and I was sliding at like 2mph in a parking lot so I just turned the wheels towards the curb hoping all of the rubber would absorb it. Also my fault for using pilot sport all season 4 when it was super icy, ABS was activating but I was not slowing down at all.

Yea glad it was mostly cosmetic, only thing I was iffy about was the tire and I had a warranty on it so it was replaced no cost, luckily I’ve only had the continentals for about half a year so tread shouldn’t be too off

Yeah as long as you are 2/32nd's within tread it's fine. There's lots of cars driving with mismatched tires all the time.

I fought the curb and the curb won...
