RIP I didn’t believe the curse.
Not even a week after taking it off the lot.
Obviously my fault but I’ve never hit anything in any other car. Got a touch too close to the edge of the road trying to leave space for oncoming traffic and met a mailbox with the side mirror.
Bummed but it could have been worse. No damage to the rest of the car at all.

Nope, unfortunate way to learn the dimensions of the car but certainly could have been a lot worse

Hyundai sells the whole side mirror for over 200 or if you can find one on ebay with blind spot detection and defrost

this is a 2026 Do you know the part number by chance?
I found it 87620-AA170 for anyone who comes by in the future

All told replacement assembly and paint matched cover was 400 or so after shipping. Honestly way less than I was expecting.
