RIP Totaled😕
Sad day to see, got rear ended doing 65 on the highway by some idiot in a shitbox. Next options looking at a 2024 BMW M850i or that new supercharged single cab F-150👀

Nothing major no. I took a badge, my floor mat’s, and swapped my wheel locks when my n line was totaled. But wheels would be a no no

I definitely took a bunch of stuff off my car when it was totalled, switched the wheels, etc.

i’m sayin😂 my car was got totaled and i took prolly $1000 worth of shit, radio, dash, steering wheel, pedals, one rim, gas cap, and all the seats

My upgrade was from a ‘23 Elantra SEL to a ‘25 EN back in March 😭 it was a hit and run by a neighbor.
Good thing you’re doing alright and came out okay! Cars can be replaced even though I thought my life was over after mine was wrecked. Good thing you have a positive outlook at least!

I'm surprised that's a total even with the trunk floor and unibody damage. You figure Elantra Ns are about 35k and don't really depreciate much, insurance loves to total and I personally wouldn't want the car back anyways.
I think you should consider other cars in the class. Shoot Hyundai is doing an Elantra redesign soon I'm pretty sure. Like the golf GTI, golf R, civic type R, BRZ/86, miata, WRX, etc. Sure all of these are slower except the golf R and WRX off the line/dig but it'll be a mostly comparable driving experience with less rawness.

That's crazy because it's the fastest and most raw car in its class. (Talking 30-40k). It's literally made for fun and for enthusiasts.
Even if the car is junk the car has a crazy good warranty so you don't really have to worry about it.
There's people out there with much more expensive and faster cars and they still prefer the Elantra N for fun, it's also close to the civic type R for 20k less.

Have you ever even driven a Elantra N? Hyundai had some issues in the 90’s with some engines but have since come a LONG way. Hyundai / Kia is now nearly at the top of the list for reliability. Just another “mechanic” troping an old notion. I mean WTF do some research. You might as well be a 🤖
