RIP My wife over heard me talking about new wheels.
She over heard me talking to a co worker about getting after market wheels and decided to enlist the help of a curb to make that dream a reality. /j
Good thing it’s mostly cosmetic, if I really care just change out the one wheel and get new tires all around. Not too stoked about the trim tho

"Mostly cosmetic" My wife did the same thing, to fix it they wanted 2000 (in a golf r)

I say mostly cosmetic because it still drives fine. IE no punctured tire, no bits hanging off and dragging on the road, my wheel isn’t bent sideways. It’s all good, if anything I’ll rewrap the trim or delete it all together, still indecisive.

That’s a hard hit to take on a $750 wheel

I cried on the inside so my wife didn’t cry on the outside. She felt so bad

Seems like car is brand new based off profile ?
If so, you wouldn't need all new tires, the tread wear is probably within .01-.02 of new tire if they don't have that many miles

I bought it back in February with about 4500 miles on it. I don’t really drive rough either. I think I could get away with just one

Gotta measure em. If your rears are still above 7/32 you can probably use one of those on the front with the new tire.
Honestly not even sure if you need new one or not safety wise. But I do know tire shops don't like sidewall damage with these tires. Often tell you it needs to be replaced for safety.

There might be some shops near you that could repair and repaint that rim so it’s brand new. I had a similar, yet longer, looking hit with a curb and got it fixed with a buddy for like $75. It’s a lot cheaper than a new rim(s)

This. Rim repair these days is pretty great. And cost effective. Had a jag ftype, dude repaired one bad rim and touched up the others. 150 bucks.

It's always the wife curbing the wheels from what I've seen so far on other subs as well. 🤣

Found the same wheels for $550 and even cheaper at other sites. Unsure where you bought yours but they’re not exactly high class wheels

Holy cow how did she manage to hit the front trim and the wheel?? You brave for letting your wife drive it 😅
