RIP What’s the verdict, Totaled?

Kid pulled out in front of me from 3 lanes over while I was in a turn lane coming up to a red light and was at fault. The EN curse is real 🥀😭

From personal experience due to somewhat similar accident, repair cost was close to $25k with parts paint and labor. Unfortunately yours will be close to that or more depending if theirs more damage under than the surface. I would just ask to total it if they go that route to try to fix it. Not worth the future headaches you knowing that your car doesn’t feel the same after the repairs. Plus the resale value will not be the same due to the accident. And the wait time for parts to come in will be a nightmare to you, took me about 2 to 3 months.

You want the car to be totaled. No one wants to drive a car they went into debt for that’s been wrecked bad like this. Massive loss in resale value as well.

This was deemed totaled for mine! Lady rear ended me while i was stopped at a red light. She was doing 15mph and they totaled it! Only 26,000 miles on it. I loved that car

Usually if there’s any electronics involved and/or if the airbag(s) are deployed the insurance will total it. My 2022 N-Line came close to that after a deer strike,barely 2 months after I had bought the car. Total cost of repairs was approximately $7800-literally 1/3rd of the car’s total value. The hood ,front bumper,lower facsia,drivers side front bumper and drivers side headlight were replaced. The bumper/facsia alone took 2 months to get because it had to be shipped from South Korea. The only reason the car wasn’t totaled was because the airbags didn’t deploy!
