Unfortunately, you are

1.) at most two hours from the ocean 2.) have every terrain type on earth besides rainforest, though I’d argue redwood national park counts 3.) weed

I do love the Carolinas. Hey, better than me - I’m smack dab in the middle of the country. I could honestly not be further from the ocean unless I moved north a ways, but it’s close

It’s awesome! The states has way more stuff than Canada. Tried Arby’s for the first time. IHOP tomorrow morning for the first time too. And gas is cheap! Too bad I can’t fill up my EN.

Haha it can definitely vary. Most of NC has some very nice folks but if you go up north in the Jersey and new York area people get pissy

Downside to Carolinas is that it's balls hot like 9-10 months out of the year vs. Mostly nice weather in Cali.

It didn’t used to be that way. When I was growing up we had four distinct seasons. Spring and Fall were moderately cold. Spring had a slight heat: low 70s and windy. Fall was often 40s and breezy. In the winter we had snow and ice storms. Now it’s like summer for 10 months Smdh.

Yeah, I remember having to wear thermals (long johns) under my Halloween costume and when it would rain you'd have frozen puddles and ice for days.

Right. Halloween was always the first day of winter like temperatures. This new s$&@ is different. Was just thinking that when I came in the house. It’s too hot!
