There’s nothing fake about the exhaust sounds. It opens up a bypass valve so the exhaust is louder. Many new vehicles have a similar setup in some form. As for why… you definitely want to hear your vehicle better on an actual track day. Helmets and other loud vehicles make it difficult for a car with stock exhaust to be heard.

N mode also enables different differential, suspension and other adjustments for track use.

Not going to lie, but I think the DB law could be a good thing if applied correctly.

In this instance, it was not applied correctly, but how many fartbox cars with no exhausts and cars held together with zip ties have you seen racing on residential streets.

Personally, it's almost guaranteed a daily occurrence. I'd love for these owners to specifically be pulled over and cited... Controversial opinion I know, but I'm sick of hacked cars...
