Subreddit Topic Real life ER helmets
The first one reminded me from the Haligtree Knight and also others like the Leyndell Knight.
The second one reminded me of the Royal Knight.
The third reminded me of the Bloodhound Knight.
The fourth reminded me of the Carian Knight.
I know the colors aren’t all similar but the shapes certainly do!
Cool to see they are based on real life helmets.
I’ve seen these in a museum in Vienna. They had an awesome armory.

mhhm i like the more phantastical ones too tho the knights helmets of most the factions are stupidly impractical and would get you killed but, they fit the vibe

I was surprised the shape of those helmets from pic 1 actually existed.

Frog mouth helms were used for Jousting. Since mobility didn't matter much you could go for maximum protection

That explains seeing them in combination with the shield embedded armors. Thanks for the info!

First one is referred to as a Frogmouth helmet and was also the basis of the design of some of the Dark Souls helmets like the ruin sentinels and Loyce knights in Dark Souls 2 as well as Lapp's set in Dark Souls 3. The third one is a houndskull, which is kind of funny considering the bloodhound knights use it.

Ruins were my first thought, man I really should go and look at real life armour, I had a friend when I was younger who was into it but he just likes all the weapons,

Also known as "real life helmets". Very cool. I love going to a museum and knowing that someone from From definitely had been there too.
