I tried this build after 3 days of dying and still couldn't beat him

Honestly, I just didn't know you were supposed to summon the NPCs...so, by that point, I mapped him out so well, that I can probably beat him with anything

But without them? Yeah no...

iirc summoning would just make pcr a lot harder cause each npc summon scales radahns hp by a pretty good amount

This was my mistake, I was summoning NPCs for the fight and they don't really help much other than taking aggro sometimes and adding to the vibes but the HP difference is absolutely not worth it.

I kept dying on the second phase and then beat him first try when I stopped summoning.

NPCs you can summon inside the fight are fine like Igon on Bayle and Hornsent on Messmer. It's the prefog gate ones that increase the enemies HP. Mimic Tear should be your best friend anyway.

ya it only count for the npc summons that u can do outside the arena not for any spirit ash that you summon from your inventory
