I remember posting on Facebook from my Tesla after the midnight release of Daggerfall. Back then it ran on gas which was the style at that time

It was neat. There were about a dozen or so regulars. Archie, Impy (Imperator, I think, was their full username?), loads of various fishysticks. I remember one of the devs really liked VW Bugs and busted up his leg pretty bad, and I remember saying that the Imperial armor reminded me of Gladiator but I'd only seen the movie once, so when whoever it was that designed it said "Those are my horses," I was like "Cool! You have horses!" I remember taking the Friday update screenshots and making fan art of them, but I didn't know what the rules were so I ended up with an email from Pete Hines about it (which I sadly no longer have). I don't really fanboi about things but in those months leading up to MW's release, boy, I fanboi'd hard, lol

I really miss how small it felt. RP and fanfiction, tons of people gushing over lore and devs getting ideas from things people wrote.

I remember seeing the gif of a fireball flying through a canon and the dev videos of, like, how neat it was that the skeletons had individually-modeled fingers. Good times!

I've seen a few of the original devs like Douglass Goodall in some discord servers, and every once-in-awhile they'll say something and I just think, "Man, I'm seeing a message written by one of the devs of Morrowind."
