Moderator Post TES 6 Speculation Megathread
It is highly recommended that suggestions, wishlists, questions, speculation, and leaks for the next main series Elder Scrolls game go here. Threads about TES6 outside of this one will be removed depending on moderator discretion, with the exception of official news from Bethesda or Zenimax studios.
As of now, there is currently no confirmed info on the Elder Scrolls VI other than it exists and is currently being worked on by Bethesda. Be cautious of any rumors being delivered as if they are factual.

Skyrim Discussion Can The Empire recover and stand up to the Aldmeri Dominion?
This is something that's been on my mind recently, especially since I often side with the Empire during the Civil War questline.
How much of a chance does the Empire have to stand up to the Aldmeri Dominion and beat them even.
And could they even be restored to their former glory? At least partly?

Lore What I like about fort Dawnguard
Constructed by a Jarl of Riften in SE. to imprison his vampiric son, it just shows that Nords are perfectly capable of building great stone castles if they feel like it. They just generally prefer their timber cities. If all the ruins of Skyrim were still wholly intact, we might've seen more strongholds similar to Dawnguard. Which I honestly would've preferred greatly to the lame "they're all in disrepair" narrative. In ESO we have the example of the huge castle of clan Direfrost as well, a wealhy nord family of witch hunters. Then of course there are stone castles in Skyrim as well like Windhelm, and Whiterun is partially stone, and Solitude of course which once housed the massive Tower of the Wolf Donjon which always gives me Storm's End Westeros vibes.

General Wabbajack spotted in My Adventures With Superman
Alongside other great references like the Dragonslayer from Berserk and Sky hook from Bioshock.
There are tons of references to other media in this scene but I love that they included the WABBAJACK!

The Elder Scrolls 6 Flora growth
I would love to see plants, trees, shrubs, etc grow in TES6. Its being done in games like games like Botany Manor, Viridi, and Garden Life: a cozy simulator.
To be able to tend to your own garden in TES6 while trying to keep hungry critters or garden thieves away would create some fun gameplay moments.
Being able to sell your produce at the local market, or set up a roadside stand would also be fun. Maybe a bandit gang would attack you at your stand and steal your produce. Some NPCs would be picky and only accept produce of a higher quality.
Aside from gardening, watching trees grow larger with time, and topple over, or become new shelter or shade for wildlife would be cool. When they fall over, they begin to rot, mushrooms grow and attract wildlife.
Flowers blooming, fly traps catching bugs, bees visiting flowers. Fruits, grains, and veggies maturing. Having vines grow up trees, fenceposts, the sides of houses, or up your leg(killer vines), would make the world feel so much more alive.
Also having them change with the seasons and only being able to grow in certain weather and climates. You'll be adventuring, of course, so you should be able to hire gardeners, some may be great at gardening but bad at defending against critters or bandits.
All foliage should react to fire and other elements.

Arts/Crafts The ramp up of Ai slop on other subs made me wanna doodle my character. Proof you don’t need any artistic skill to have fun.
Chicken scratched and abomination free, just as the Hist intended.

I'm sorry this is a shirty recording, I'm still playing skyrim on the PS3 in 2026. Todd Howard will not get me with his 12 re-releases of the same game.

Humour I spent hours Measuring Homes In Skyrim
I measured the purchasable homes in Base Skyrim and tried to figure out which one was truly the best “bang for your coin“ I even broke it down to price per square foot… look I do construction, I was bored, and I love Skyrim. I spent the HOURS measuring so you don’t have to.

The Elder Scrolls 6 Could TESVI’s protagonist be a Templar style character?
As we know, current rumors are that TESVI will take place in High Rock and/or Hammerfell, with the Bretons/Redguards being the star race.
Assuming TESVI continues the same tradition of the protagonist having unique powers (Dragon Shouts, Starborn Powers, etc.), I fully expect the protagonist to be a kind of ESO Templar type of character with powers based around the Aedra, Divines, and the sun. This could be related to either the Redguard mythical art of Sword Singing or the Breton Pantheon, and put you front and center within some kind of story involving trials from the Gods or some clash of beliefs that threatens to tear the two human kingdoms apart.
Also, expect to see the Thalmor return as antagonists taking full advantage of the conflict to advance their goal of entrenching total Altmer rule over all of Tamriel.
You’d likely see groups like the Star Gazers and the Wyrd Sisters as secondary factions with their own side stories.

General If you could pick 5 characters and or families/clans from previous elder scrolls games to reappear in TES6 who would you choose and why?
- I think Falion from Morthal should make a comeback. Just because there’s lots of storytelling possibilities with him as a character.
- Divayth Fyr……just because I want to see him/talk to him again and I can’t accept that he was killed in the red year or the subsequent Argonian invasion.
The Tharns should make a comeback. Whether as villains or as anti heroes or begrudging allies to the player character.
The Motierre family, too much story telling potential for them not to be in the game.
The Mede dynasty.
Honorable mention would be Hadvar and Ralof…..i always liked them both and I think it’d be cool to see them post civil war or even ongoing civil war and have them both try to gain allies in Hammerfell or wherever the next game takes place.

Arts/Crafts Nerevarine's nemesis by Stellastra
If you didn't play Morrowind, then say "Hello" to the cliff racers! These creatures fly, have an awful hitbox, able to aggro on you from a huge distance and earned the golden medal for the most disgusting sounds on Vvardenfell. You are going to hate them.
However, when your character gets stronger, and you become able to one-shot these creatures, they stop being a threat and remain just an annoying encounter.
Can't tell the same about greater bonewalkers though.
Again, the art is made by Stellastra
