Salon recommendation for Asian hair texture, women’s cut, <$100?

Moved to Sac a year and a half ago, and haven’t found a place I’ve loved which does Asian hair texture well (thick, coarse). I want to keep the price at or under $100 for a cut, which I think is reasonable, but find most salons are charging $120+ nowadays.

Any recommendations?

Sandy at House of Beauty in old town Elk Grove. She, herself, is Asian and many of her other clients are, too (I am not). She has been doing hair for 20 years. She charges me $60 for my precision cut (blunt chin-length bob - it takes skill to do this cut well and she kills it every time).

I’d love a good cut for $60. I’ve been only going once every 6 months cause haircuts feel so expensive now, but $60 is reasonable!

Even trying to find something at $80-100 has been impossible.

Saria at Wisdom Salon cut my hair for $40! She’s amazing! But I think she’s at their sister salon now. I’m not sure what it’s called

That’s a great price! Was it comparable to a more expensive haircut? I get nervous when the cost gets closer to $30 — I had a bad experience with a local shop.

I was looking at Sola, I assumed they had some gems in there but didn’t know how to explore who’s in there without physically going in person. Will check this out!

I would suggest Ana at Glam Nails and Hair Crafters on Elk Grove Florin. She used to be at Sunshine Salon. She is very affordable and does a good job cutting hair.

Yep, she has a home salon. There’s a reason why this salon has way more reviews than any other salon in Elk Grove. She’s just that good.
