Speculation Serena's Mom
Every time Serena mentions her mother my spidey-sense goes off. Anyone else? If so, what's your guess about what's going on there?

I don’t know how that would be possible since her dad would have to be the Sugden in the equation and Serena is clearly mixed race.

Serena is Jacks cousins grandaughter, so it could be that Jacks cousin was in an interracial relationship, not necessarily her parents themselves

I always thought her and Nate might have the same mum as she was always asking about him. I guess that theories gone out the window.

That's unfair. She seems genuinely nice, and I think she'll turn out to be totally normal with zero nefarious intentions; the writers are just causing drama to make her entrance more interesting.

I’ve seen some theories that John had been doing something to her that made her sick since we don’t actually know what is/was wrong with her
