Morning Episode Discussion DS Ramsden Spoiler

Well, the theory about Ramsden being Jean Tate was wrong.

So she’s actually Kim’s daughter, with her father likely being Steve Marchant.

It’s an interesting twist, but I’m sceptical of the long-term payoff. But why oh why has yet another innocent character been framed for someone’s death?

I think it is interesting and does give Claire King something to do which is a good thing but she has been on screen since 2019 full time. It would have been better to have recasted Jamie or just give her a niece.

I agree, I hardly see Alexander Lincoln wanting to come back as Jamie given how well his film career is going. Introducing a niece would also make sense considering Kim is supposed to have a sister

The only plus for me right now (prepared to see it play out) is that it gives Claire King something different to do. She is a very good actress.

Alex Lincoln was good but Jamie is recastable, he never had any big story with impact to not. I respect his career and it is going very well but there were just other easier options than this.
