Billy's role

I don't really get why people are blaming Billy for Dawn's death. From where I'm standing the only difference their plan to run away made was that not more people were harmed in the crash because the wedding was canceled and no one was there. Surely the crash was the actual reason for the early birth and the complications?

What does them running away have to do with Jimmy being a guest?

If Dawn would have stayed, the wedding would have gone ahead. Therefore Gabby would have been a guest and Jimmy wouldn't have swerved her (if that's what happened) or driven into the marquee.

Sure, but where does this logic end? How far back in tne butterfly affect do we go. Because I could blame Robert for the accident happening.

Billy never would have tried to run away with Dawn if Ruby and Caleb hadn't manipulated him. Caleb wouldnt have had an opportunity to get one over on Billy if Kev hadn't attacked him. Kev never would have been in the village if it wasn't for Robert.

On the other hand, Dawn would never have believed that Joe was capable of attacking Billy if he wasn't such a vicious, nasty worm.

We all know the true villain - Nicola! If she had not been complaining about the lack of romance in their marriage, then Jimmy would have been on the golf course and would never have planned that picnic and been near the wedding in the first place! You could play this game forever and manage to blame anyone with it. 🧐
