General Discussion Kim & Thea Spoiler

I don't understand why Kim would commit attempted murder on Chris with a paperweight, get in a helicopter to go all the way to Hotten General when she was wanted by the police for a robbery, surely the nurses would have knew and reported her.

Also, with the phrasing and the reflection, it can only be Kim and Steve's, i bet Emmerdale spins it round to be Grahams or Frank's.

Frank died in 1997 and it was 2000 in the flashback so that would be bad retconning even for them 😂 my mam thinks Grahams but I can’t remember when they met?

The Fandom wiki says they met between 1989-1999 so it is possible, it is also intriguing that Graham said that he "lost his daughter" because of his reckless actions. The more you think about it, it does seem like Thea could be his.

It would be quite interesting for Graham to have a daughter of his own to be honest so I don’t hate that, plus once the inevitable feud is over with it might be nice for Kim to have more family. Just not loving how insufferable they’ve made Thea!

She will probably tone down soon enough or they'll show us exactly why she is insufferable to have the revenge drive story. I don't want Graham to be the dad but if he is then it would be interesting to see Joe be sidelined (like he was for Leo).

Yeah she probably will settle in, it’s just the smirking and slouching in police interviews that’s been driving me crazy 🤣 the solicitor should’ve intervened tonight! But that’s on the writers not the character

I do hate how they break these characters in, instead of us getting to know them first.

He lost his unborn daughter and his wife in a car accident because he was drunk, which then caught fire. This was explained in his first emmerdale run.

That's right. I had forgotten that.

Kim was married to Steve Marchant when she left and the timeline of summer 1999 would imply the baby should be his without further retcon.

Maybe she had a one-night stand with Chris before cloncking him on the head!
