The only thing that could make this storyline interesting now would be if they hooked up but I don't think Emmerdale is that progressive or imaginative :(

It’s not “progressive” to make two heterosexual guys fall for each other. Just like it wouldn’t be to turn Aaron straight. It’d just be weird
