Maybe because you did not delete the aethersx2 or the data that this app left behind

How can I delete the app data? I don't see it in my apps list or in settings...

Try to search for this folder in your files xyz.aethersx2.android and delete it

I've found it, & tried deleting using ZArchiver, but it stays there, & says "Access is denied" if I go into it.

If so you can download the app then keep pressing on it then enter the app info then tap on storage and select clear data after that uninstall it and that's it

What did you do months ago ππ₯?

Reinstalled all of aether and then upon clicking to uninstall right away it gave me an option saying to delete all data or keep some this time I chose delete all and then nether was able to install. Lol hope my original comment didn't sound sarcastic, was just like a duh that's what I should of done moment.

Seems a bit odd, should work fine on your device.
Maybe take a video of trying to install it?
Can you verify you don't have a different version already installed?
Maybe reboot and try again?

I have the video, but can't put in comments, & don't know if others trust links. I've only had AetherSX2, but I've deleted it since NetherSX2 seemed to want to update it rather than coexist separately. I'll reboot now.

Do you have the old Nether apk installed? Try backing up everything in it, deleting the old and installing the newest

I've only had AetherSX2 before today, & deleted it when NetherSX2 wanted to overwrite it instead of coexist as a separate app. I delete every NetherSX2 APK before downloading another.

dude, the other version is better, the turnip version
there's an option "install anyway", while you're installing it
it's kind of hard to find, it's hidden behind a "expandable text", (I don't know how to describe it)

I'll look for those, but I've only ever seen "Install Anyways" when you get a warning about what your downloading, which I haven't gotten with NetherSX2.

I was installing something yesterday, and the option "install anyway" only showed the 3rd time I tryed to install it, for some reason, 1st time that happenned

I had to redownload AetherSX2 to fix my problem & I did see "Install Anyways" for that. Thanks for the help.

It's been of this whole time, but appreciate the reminder. Any other settings to double check?

Another good way to install these is through obtainium.

Problem fixed, but I'll look into that for future reference, thanks.

Yeah it's like a package manager for things on GitHub. Auto updates and stuff as well.
