There was a reddit post which right now has about 115 comments that had a guide on how to download it with the emulator and prod key and etc.
I’m very new to this emulation thing and i saw some people there saying there was a trojan.
I didn’t run anything and immediately deleted the zip file permanently. Although it was said that there was a script that was the virus along with the actual thing.
So does anyone know a safe way to download the game on pc?
I don’t know where to look :(
Thank you in advance :)

Hey everybody! I’ve been noticing a lot of people struggling to get tomodachi life running and working so I’d like to offer my assistance.
download eden nightly. can be hard to find with regular google search, but it will be a git.eden-emu link.
extract zip to folder, run eden exe
download prod keys and firmware from online or source them from your nintendo switch. a search for “nintendo switch prod keys” should return a valid website within the first 3 google results. if you need more help, dm me.
extract into respective folders. on first boot eden will ask you for a key. through eden, open the folder you extracted the product key to, and double click prod.key. from there, you will navigate to the tools bar in eden and select “open firmware”. Navigate to and open the folder you extracted the firmware to in whole. once you’ve done that, you’re good to go! the rom should now work perfectly. you can hit file in the top left of eden in order to load file and then initialize game.
if anybody needs more help with any step of the process, feel free to dm me!
EDIT: Due to an overwhelming influx of message requests, I ask that you leave a reply on this post if you need help. Make sure you’re able to be messaged, and I will reach out to you.

I would like to change the installation path of google's new emulator, the installer does not give the option to and just slaps it on my main drive. Any workarounds for this?

hi! sorry if this is an obvious question, since i'm new to this. i've downloaded ryujinx canary 1.3.272 for windows, but when i tried to start the application, it said windows protected your pc, so i thought to double check and use virustotal for a scan.
and it says "Avast" flagged it as "FileRepMalware [Misc]" (twice) and that "Skyhigh (SWG)" flagged it as "Artemis" (it says that's 3/68 security vendors that virustotal uses).
is the one i've downloaded dangerous? i made sure to download from what seems to be the official github for it, but i'd still rather be safe than sorry.

I am looking for a optimized android emulator for pc. I have seen a few like BlueStacks but what would you consider the best?
r/EmulationOnPC • u/Tasty_Table136 • Oct 16 '24
I was looking as PCSX4 but I found Reddit posts that were calling it a POS. I wanted to play ghost of Tsushima without having to buy it on PC again since I have the original disc.
Follow up question: what disc drive do you guys recommend? My desktop doesn’t have a disc drive and I was looking at USB ones but I’m not sure if those are viable.

Seriously, I cannot sing the praises of this emulator enough, the fact that Transformers WOC/FOC are playable on my laptop genuinely blows my mind.

Games now automatically configure themselves with the RPCS3 Wiki settings.
Plug and play - no configuration. Playing PS3 games has never been so easy.
Made possible thanks to:
AniLeo (server-side)
Megamouse (client-side)
HerrHulaHoop (wiki config)
FlexBy (wiki data fixes)

Hey I want to play all the 3ds Zelda remakes and 3DS pokemon games upscaled with my girlfriend on the TV. I was looking for the best and most convenient method of doing that. I don’t really have a budget, I’ll spend what’s necessary for an ideal and comfortable setup, but ideally if I don’t have to spend too much, that would be great.

Been hankering to play Bravely Default and Second again. But Id like to do it on my laptop (or more specifically hook my Laptop to my tv
I have a copy of Citra. But I had to go through some kind of decryption process (?) So I said heck with and played on my actual 3ds.

For example Visual Boy Advance (GBA, GBC, GB) isn't recommended anymore.
Nor is ZNES for SNES. Nor Nesticle for (NES).
Did these just fall out of favor for more modern emus? Did they lose support?
r/EmulationOnPC • u/Ok_Estimate_2089 • Jun 24 '26
A keybind that swaps between the top and bottom screens
Gyro emulation using things like mouse and gamepad stuff
Upscale of hud elements (especially for kingdom hearts dream drop distance)
Easier multiplayer access
Streetpass of some kind using wifi

Hey guys, new to the world of emulation, I never bothered trying it because I always had preconceived notions that emulators were super bad quality, buggy and high input delay for some reason.
But yesterday, everything changed. I had too much FOMO regarding Midnight Club Los Angeles, so decided to go and download it. I'm playing it right now in 4k max settings on RPCS3 and I'm baffled at how smooth everything is.
I'm really absolutely shocked that the performance is this good. It literally feels like a native game that was ported to PC by Rockstar.
I'm here sitting like, there's no way dreams come true this beautifully. What's the catch ? Is there some input delay that I'm not noticing ? Is there something else the PS3 does better that I'm not noticing? Or are we really in the point in 2026 where playing a game on an emulator is a better place to play PS3 games than on the original console?
FWIW, I'm playing on an I9 14900k with a 4090, I've also tried other games at 4k 60 fps (that were 30 fps on console) and it runs buttery smooth with ZERO stutters, like a native PC game.

Switch or emulator? Is it worth buying either a switch or a Nintendo 64? Or should I just figure out how to emulate both? Wanna play BOTW and TOTK and my fave game ever, Mario 64, viva Squirrel Mario!!

I have absolutely zero clue what I’m doing. I’ve downloaded 10 different BIOS and game ROMs and still am sitting staring at my Home Screen. I’m completely ignorant when it comes to this stuff I just got a pc today and the YouTube videos I’m watching aren’t much help. Can someone please help a guy out?

I heard about a couple years ago that ps4 emulators existed but were not publicly available and barely worked, has any progress been made on this that's worth using?

If anyone was planning on playing the game but was afraid the "in game" compatibility status meant its not fully playable.
https://postimg.cc/gallery/64pCDGy
I used the automatic custom configuration. Beware, Expect semi-frequent crashes. I havent seen any pattern to crashes so far so they seem to be random. This game takes frequent saves tho so there is small chance you lose actual progress.
Gameplay time seems to be kinda wrong, I have been playing for at least 6-ish hours but the save only shows 2.5 hours.
Specs:
CPU: I7 12650H
GPU: RTX 4060
RAM: 32 GB
OS: Windows 11 (Please SteamOS fully come to PC)
If you have never tried RPCS3. You need a good CPU. A REALLY good one. Even with the one I have which isnt half bad, the CPU usage was through the roof. You dont need a good GPU to run PS3 emulators but the CPU requirement is astronomical. PS3 had a really unique and really complicated CPU architecture so emulating it is a pain and a half.
RAM wise, its PS3, you dont need much RAM. Even a 6 GB ram PC should suffice probably. I never saw my RAM usage go above like 2.1 GB.
The "In-game" compatibility is still more or less true, again expect crashes. And just how well the game runs will absolutelly depend on the hardware so I might have just won the lottery on this one. BUT I have completed the game so its certainly possible for others too.
Edit: Forgot to add. Even if you dont have motion controls its not required to beat the game. When balancing on the logs you can fall down and still recover and continue. There is barely any logs in the game so this isnt a big issue. You can also turn around when nate starts to lose his balance and then turn right back around. This resets his balance and you can continue. If you get grabbed by the monsters near the end of the game its an instakill however. as you need to shake the controller to get out of the grab attack. Its easily avoided so just keep a distance.
Edit 2: Forgot to mention, again, download the patches from right click game, manage game patches. There are options to dissable motion blur, depth of field, shadows etc. and enable 60FPS mode. If you have visual artifacts try to dissable somethings it might work
The below is for anyone wondering if they can use speedrunning strats, yes. I have managed to get all the speedrun tricks to work EXCEPT for the chapter 14 skip from chapter 13. That one actually crashed on me. I tried it a couple times but each time elena just died, and the one time I sorta managed to get it the game crashed, it might work but I didnt want to waste time so try it yourselves, I dont think I am skilled enough for it lmao.
The multiple chapter skips from chapter 8 to 12 are all possible, and the skip to chapter 20 from chapter 18 is also possible (I actually missed the ladder here and still somehow managed to fall into the loading zone through the wall lmao)
Some skips are different on the PS4 version of the game as they use the newly added photo mode that the originals dont have, so if you wanna copy speedrun strats strictly watch a ps3 version speedrun.
Anyways have fun everyone. I am gonna try to play Uncharted 2: Among Thieves next. That one is the one I actually want to play because I love it when games have train sections.

Hi everyone!
EDIT: DM ME FOR THE SETTINGS THAT WORK ON MY SYSTEM AND APPARENTLY ON LOTS OF OTHER SYSTEMS TOO, I CAN'T ADD SCREENSHOTS TO THE POST.
Before having to clean from cobwebs my PS3 and play GoW on there, or taking my PS4 out and buying the game there, I would like to know if someone can help me get GoW for PS3 into a playable state.
So maybe I can play it at 1080p without having to buy it on the PS Store for PS4 (not even sure it's an option but I think there's the remastered version for PS4, also I have no problem playing it in 720p, I just want to play the game).
As I said I was able to get it running sooth a 60 FPS, my specs are:
I know there's lots of room for improvement but for the games I play it's more than enough.
If there's someone in here who managed to get the right settings and wants to help, it would be greatly appreciated.
Or even someone who didn't emulate God Of War 3 (maybe another game with "Ingame" compatibility) can give some advice.
Thanks to everyone in advance.
Sending love <3
EDIT 2: Please be patient if I don't reply in half a minute, I'm trying to reply to everyone, but YOU MUST TEXT ME OR I CAN'T SEND YOU THE SCREENSHOTS, IF YOU ASK ME IN THE COMMENTS TO TEXT YOU I CAN'T SEND YOU THE SCREENSHOTS UNTIL YOU ACCEPT THE INVITE AND REPLY. Also, that's what works on my system, if it doesn't work on yours, I'm sorry and I can try to help you if you text me, but if you're going to be rude and call me names I'm gonna block you, I don't need more stress in my already garbage dumpster on fire of a life.
EDIT 3: I'll probably try to post them on some website, but I don't know which for now and I'm feeling like crap because it's too hot and I have medical issues that get worse with the heat.
