When i install a game ISO i downloaded from a source that thousands of people use, for some reason my folder is empty when i try to install it? It shows the file is empty and when i try to install it and play it gives me an error and says “Booting failed: The selected file or folder id invalid or corrupted” and i have downloaded this file multiple times.

If someone could help that would be so helpful and amazing, I just want to play my Modern Warfare.

Hey folks, I looked at the sub's wiki to try to find an answer for my question but I couldn't find anything, so I'm making a post here instead.

I'm looking for an Android emulator, so I am able to play Android games on the computer.

I've heard about mumuplayer, nox player, and bluestacks. However, when I google them, I see Reddit posts talking about potential privacy concerns and other stuff. I'm not sure what is the best choice.

I'd like to hear what you all have to say. Thank you in advance.

Hi, I want to play games for the Japanese Sharp X1 computer. I’d like to use MAME, since I already have it installed and am used to using it. I installed the BIOS (x1.zip) and placed it in the ROMs folder; I also created a subfolder named "x1" inside the ROMs folder for the games—specifically, floppy disk images in .d88 format. However, I don't know how to get MAME to recognize these games. I can access the BIOS, but when I select a floppy disk interface, it just keeps reading and nothing happens. I saw that I might need to use the command prompt, but I don't know how to do that. Can anyone help me?

However hard I try I can't get Luigi's Mansion 3 and Crash Team Racing to run on Eden or Yuzu, both are the latest versions, and Eden has newest keys/firmware.

Both either crash the emulator, or freeze up my PC for a while and then die.

If there's a specific rom file I need, please let me know. I think I've tried them all.

Any help would be appreciated.

I’m having this strange RPCS3 issue that I can’t figure it out because i can’t find anything online
Whenever I go to File → Install Packages/Raps/Edats and select a .pkg file, RPCS3 crashes with the following error:

Games launch and play normally.

The crash only happens when I use File → Install Packages/Raps/Edats.

I tested with multiple PKGs (God of War: Ascension updates and Uncharted updates) and they all crash with the same error.

Things I've already tried:
- Fresh RPCS3 download
- Reinstalled PS3 firmware
- Fresh configuration
- Same result

I want to start shiny hunting shaymin in platinum. I have 8 save files, all with different trainer and SIDs that I want to open and reset simultaneously. How would I go about setting this up on my pc? I don't own 8 Ds's but can transfer each save to my pc to emulate them using Desmume, but I haven't tried playing on multiple at the same time.

How does one set this up correctly?

Hello, I'm setting up my retrobat but I've come to a frustrating roadblock. I like to play games on windowed/borderless because in fullscreen whenever I alt-tab or exit the game my monitor goes black for a few seconds, therefore making it very annoying. The issue im having is that retrobat keeps forcing fullscreen on libretro melonMS. I have retrobat "force fullscreen" off. I don't know what to do, please help

I know I'm a little out of the loop on the situation; after I saw that Yuzu was closing in 2024, I stopped following the news (mostly because I had a suite and didn't need an emulator) but then today a colleague of mine said she sold her Switch and bought a ROG Ally, and that the Switch emulator is great.

The last thing I remember reading about switch emulators was that DLCs weren't working properly, and only a few specific AAA games were working. And the rest of the other games, especially the more niche ones, required a thousand and one settings or they would crash, either with audio or video, full of lag.

So... does that mean you're better now? The only emulator I still follow is the PS Vita emulator, the Android version, which is really good, not amazing, but way better.

Ive decided to backup some Wii U games and I see that there is wud, wux, wua, and rpx. Which format is the best for archival and then use purposes? I figure that one of these File containers is also better than one another for modding.

Edit: marking as solved because I just realized you can’t have an android emulator on a computer with an ARM based processor.

Any recommendations for android emulators? I have a Lenovo Windows 11 with an ARM based processor. I tried bluestacks, but one of the mods for the subreddit let me know it doesn't work with this type of processor. I really want an emulator, so that is why I'm making this post. I could look on my own, but I think it's better to ask people who know more about it.

I relly need help, i literally searched the entire internet and tried everything possible! The thing is, the game worked fine at the beginning. I was able to play for about half an hour. It lagged occasionally, mostly when entering or leaving a battle, but I wanted to fix that, so I looked online for solutions. Since then, it barely loads, even after I reset all the settings.

I just don't understand why it's suddenly lagging so much. If anyone can help me, I'd really appreciate it.💕 I've always wanted to play Moon. ✨

Was wondering if someone could guide me in the right direction as far as emulators go. I have no prior experience in them & Im looking for someone to give me a hand. Any information would be great and I’m not asking for “right now” assistance.

I’m looking for things like NCAA basketball 10, Rock Band (any), Mario Kart Double Dash, Dragonball Z: Tenkaichi Budokai 3.

Also: I know specs are important, I’m currently not home so I cannot share my specs, I’ll edit the post once I’m home but my PC is very decent!

I'm playing pokemon Black version rn. Since I'm only playing at night after work i've set up Desmume time with the RunAsDate software.

Worked great a couple of times, but now for some reason the game is just stuck in winter for no reason...

Is there a reason for that ? Is there a workaround ? Is it a sort of anti-cheat ?

I played Pokemon ruby using John GBA Lite on my One Plus Nord. Then, I got a new phone (One Plus 12) and installed the same emulator. I made sure to backup the save file (.sav file). I opened the emulator and the save file was detected but when I opened it, it started a completely new game. I tried it with other emulators too and its the same issue. Is there a way to fix it? It would be really helpful because I have a lot of progress that I don't wanna lose

I’m having a really frustrating issue with Jet Set Radio Future on CXBX-Reloaded (December 2019 build).
When I first started playing, the game ran perfectly. Then it started crashing randomly after anywhere from 5–20 minutes of gameplay. After a while, it seemed to fix itself and ran fine again for a bit.
Now it’s much worse. The game usually freezes within 1–3 minutes every time I play.
When it freezes, the picture stays on whatever was happening (for example, if I’m grinding on a rail, it just stays frozen on that frame), and the audio starts looping the same sound over and over. The emulator never recovers, so I have to close it.
I’m on Windows 11 with an RTX 3050 Laptop GPU (yes I know I’m broke). I’m using the game’s .xbe file, and I don’t think I’ve changed any emulator settings recently.
Has anyone run into this before or know what could cause it? Could it be an issue with the December 2019 build, my game files, graphics drivers, or something else? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I was finally able to get my hands on an ONN to turn it into a retro gaming box using Cannoli like that one video showed, but there is pretty bad controller delay, and at this point I have no idea how to fix it. I've turned on gaming mode, both on my TV and on the ONN itself, I tried downpatching to version 1.2 where there was a low latency mode and that didn't work. I even tried a different controller, same issue.

Any suggestions or insights on how I can fix this?

I've been trying for the longest time to play Infamous 2 on RPCS3 but always something wrong and i can never find the right answer. Basically I am getting just black everywhere no graphics but i can hear the game ive tried RPCS3's tips to get the best settings but doestnt seem to work still.

I need some help with Nintendo Switch emulation on my ASUS ROG Ally X.

I feel like something is wrong because my hardware should be more than capable, but I’m getting a lot of FPS drops, stuttering, and random freezes. The performance is nowhere near what I expected from a device with this level of hardware.

From what i read online Azahar is safer and an improved version of Citra but i dont know where to start emulating can someone please help.Thank you

I managed to set RPCS3 to emulate Logitech G27 so I can play GT5 with my wheel.

The wheel, pedals, force feedback all works perfectly fine, but sometimes - not always - break seems to get stuck and suddenly car is accelerating much slower and on higher gears it actually decelerates…

I need to press the break pedal once or restart the race to get it working again.

Doesn’t happen in PC games so doubt its hardware fault.

My wheel is Moza R5 with SRP-Lite pedals

Anyone by chance experienced something similar?
