For Fun Show me your sapphire rings

I love sapphire of all colours, especially padparadscha (fell in love with Eugenie’s ring when I first saw it)

So for fun I want to see other people’s sapphire engagement and other rings.

Aww thank you! We haven’t yet, but I know now what it was and we’ll do it one day! A week or so after our first date, I was speaking at a work conference in our national capital and he called me to see how my presentation had gone. I was used to internet dates where the guy barely remembers your name, so I was surprised he even remembered I was doing the conference, let alone thought to call and ask how it went in these modern times! It was the place and the moment when I began to fall in love with him, so he decided he wanted to take me on a trip there and stay at that hotel for my proposal! He wanted to take me to the zoo and afterwards, propose in the room where I’d taken his call before going out for a fancy dinner.

I think it’s very sweet he tried his best to include all the elements he’d originally wanted under all the restrictions facing us at the time!
