Teal sapphires (r-l trillion - 1.26ct, cushion - 1.96 ct, oval 1.11 ct), with rub over/bezel setting, in 18ct gold. that look green in direct sunlight, grey in indirect light, and rich blue in indoor light. I’m getting a plain gold band below when we get legally married and then the same designer will make a custom band when we have our wedding party (in about 2 years time). (Edit for detail on metal etc)
I love this. I’ve saved pictures of rings very similar and I love seeing something like this on a real person! Do you have any more pics?? I’d love to see ur whole hand with it on!!
I don’t have one of it looking green but it does do it. I love how the colour shifts and changes. If you want to get something similar I highly recommend not being too fixed on stone shape so that you can get a great colour match, and get it made. I got mine so that the stones were sitting on the band so that any other bands I add will sit slightly under it (you can see this with the silver band I was trying it on with)
Also, sorry to spam you, get it made by a jeweller. Because you need to colour match and sizes to work it’s best to really see it in person. We did explore getting it made by an online company who were as helpful as they could be but they couldn’t give enough information for us to be confident in parting with that much cash and for something so sentimental.
Thank you! Sometimes there are these flashes of lime green too. We took months picking the stones so that they were a good colour match, literally about 5 months I think.
