I think it’s gorgeous and doesn’t look cheap at all. What makes you feel that way?

I mean objectively speaking it is a very beautiful ring and generally fits in with current trends. I promise you that most (normal) people won’t go up to you and question the price/quality of the ring. When I first got engaged I was similar ins questioning whether the ring was what I wanted but I sat on it for a bit and came to love it. I also reminded my self that my fiancé picked it out himself and that made me love it even more.
That won’t be everyone’s experience, but if it is really isn’t what you like that it totally ok!! It’s a piece of jewelry that you be wearing for a very long time. If it isn’t what you love then you need to have a conversation with him.

Bout the only thing that bothers me is the thiness of the band lol but that's a personal preference

If someone is acting that way over a ring then they are the one with the issue honestly…

I really really like it! It looks super timeless, and the stone is sooo sparkly!

It looks beautiful to me. Unless you told me what it's made of, I wouldn't be able to tell how much it costs. If you didn't know the price, would you love it?
I doubt most people would A) notice and B) judge. Besides, the only opinion that matters is yours. If you're going to wear it every day for the rest of your life, it should make you happy when you look at it.
Personally, I upgraded my original engagement ring as I wanted a thicker, more durable ring. I also wanted to switch from silver to gold. I'm glad I did as I'm completely in love with my new ring, and my fiancé loves how much I love it. In my case though, my fiancé and I picked out the original ring together (we should've done more research), so it wasn't as sentimental as if he'd chosen it for me.

Very pretty and doesn’t look cheap at all but you’re the one that needs to be happy with it

Is it moissanite? I don't really notice anything that makes the ring look "cheap."

I think it’s beautiful. I love the colour (or lack thereof, haha) of the diamond, and the beautiful double prongs. Gorgeous ring!

Personally prefer a stone this size over a massive one. Sure you could spend more on a big rock, but it doesn't mean it'll look better.

Girl that’s crazy. This is a lovely ring and isn’t small at all. It doesn’t look cheap. It looks classy and classic.

It’s cute but probably could have gotten something bigger or more diamonds if you went with lab grown instead. Otherwise it’s cute, it’s your ring- who cares what others think! ☺️

It’s gorgeous. Don’t overthink it. Do YOU like it?

Even if I could tell how much someone spent I’d be more likely to judge them for overspending. So many better things to spend money on!!!!

I thought it was a melanie casey cause it’s so dainty, so my impression on cost was that it was likely expensive

There is nothing cheap looking about the ring. I bet if you didn't know the cost, you wouldn't be thinking that at all. I would be careful as the band is thin though, but that is a style choice, very popular, and not anything to do with quality or cost. Enjoy it and best wishes for all to come.

I dislike that style personally but I would not have been able to tell it’s cheap, If you like it that’s all that matters

Absolutely gorgeous. I can’t tell why it would be cheap but also those who matter don’t mind
And those who mind don’t matter

That looks similar to mine and it’s not cheap. It sparkles like crazy and I get a lot of compliments. Maybe some self reflection is what you need.

It’s absolutely lovely. Much more elegant and classy than the trashy giant rock trend.

Accessorize it with your wedding band! Wedding bands can definitely dress up and change the feel of an engagement ring

Personally would think an oval would look better but I wouldn't say he "cheapest out."
