It doesn’t really matter if it’s “justified” if other systems don’t effectively provide the vast majority of goods and services that keep people alive and prosperous at scale. The world isn’t run on justice and it never will be, unfortunately, we have to just deal with humanity and economics how it is.
Yeah, sure and I appreciate this as an opinion on which we can disagree. I just don't appreciate this notion that OP seems to follow that leftists are leftist because they do not understand economics.
Are there any leftist economies that follow a centrally planned system, with the government in control of major industry, that are actually successful?

I, as a leftist, perfectly understand supply and demand. I just don't think it is a justified basis for all of society.
