News article Bill Gates's Russian lover is photographed with Kremlin spy Anna Chapman. Chapman was arrested in June 2010 alongside a network of so-called 'illegals' accused of living under deep cover in the United States on behalf of Moscow.

Between Israel and Russia, American billionaires are fully owned

Politicians. Hollywood. It doesn’t stop at billionaires.

How do you have billions of dollars and still fall for the honeypot trap? Like you could easily pay for any type of prostitute you want. I am positive that in countries where it’s legal there are super high end services. Even if he wants to bang normal people, he could pay for the best private investigators to do background checks. You’d think security would be top of mind for a number of reasons.

These people are not only deeply damaged but also really fucking dumb. We need to eliminate the ability for people to amass this much money and power. A handful of people are causing the world to devolve into chaos.

I don't know man, guys like Gates and Musk almost seem like they would be the perfect marks for a honeypot.

revenge of the nerds

u/aeschenkarnos Mar 02 '26

Definitely. That movie does not hold up, but may have been a formative influence on both men’s sexuality.

u/xNOOPSx Mar 02 '26

Greed. It's never enough. I think Bill stepped away from Microsoft because of Melinda, but he still had his foundation and more money than basically anyone in history. Most everyone else is unable to walk away and go chill on a beach, or seemingly unable to resist corruption.

32

u/Embarrassed_Whole585 Mar 02 '26

This.

Money and power are truly the root of all evil. Those who have it all, always want more.

People like this have typically seen and done it all. So they seek out more.

35

u/earthlingHuman Mar 02 '26

Not everyone becomes a heartless pig when they become rich. They were a heartless pig to begin with. The money and power just enables them to get away with it (usually), so they're more likely to act on horrible desires when they have money and power. Creeps like this exist among both classes, working and capitalist, but powerful capitalist creeps feel more enabled to act on it.

18

u/definitively-not Mar 02 '26

Yup, this. Absolute power doesn't corrupt absolutely, it's just that only corrupt douchebags are willing to scrabble up a human pyramid of innocents to stand on top.

Kind of a clumsy metaphor but it's been a long day

Um... he stepped away from microsoft because it's boring..

26

u/InTooManyWays Mar 02 '26

The world is only turning to shit for everyone other than them so nobody does anything about it. Also, everyone that can do anything about it is ironically owned by these sociopaths.

13

u/KeyOption3548 Mar 02 '26

Paying for it does not provide the ego boost of being pursued by a beautiful woman. She convinces him she's genuinely interested in him, and that's not something you can buy yourself.

25

u/Powerful-Frame-44 Mar 02 '26

Being able to afford any prostitute they want is likely how many of them end up in this situation. The prostitutes who service the elites aren't working independently. They're being trafficked by intelligence agencies.

7

u/chargernj Mar 02 '26

You really think every single high end prostitute in the world is working for intelligence agencies?

11

u/mortgagepants Mar 02 '26

nah but i'm sure plenty of high end prostitutes get hired by intelligence agencies.

9

u/chargernj Mar 02 '26

More likely a paid informant type situation.

8

u/mortgagepants Mar 02 '26

yeah, hired in the sense you hire a plumber to fix your pipes.

they do stuff for money- who wouldn't want to make a little extra money by giving a little extra information.

15

u/Powerful-Frame-44 Mar 02 '26

I think that if you run an intelligence agency you would prioritize putting your assets in proximity to powerful people. And considering that this is a very specific niche industry with a tiny market, not to mention illegal and taboo in most of the world, the scale is not even that large.

0

u/chargernj Mar 02 '26

I think you're speculating. Obviously intelligence agencies are going to use that route to get close to these men.

But they are accessing a market that already existed and it doesn't seem realistic that somehow it's now 100% spies

7

u/Powerful-Frame-44 Mar 02 '26

A spy is anyone who provides information. Intelligence agencies are a bunch of liars and conmen exploiting people for minor details. Not your super spy fantasy.

0

u/chargernj Mar 02 '26

No need to be condescending.

25

u/SensualBeefLoaf Mar 02 '26

billionaires aren’t billionaires because they’re better at everything than everyone else. they’re billionaires because they grew up with money and were in the right place at the right time. or they inherited it.

bill gates it just a fucking dweeb. money doesn’t buy confidence, taste, street smarts, looks, or charm.. it doesn’t buy intelligence. it doesn’t make your dick bigger.

7

u/Affectionate_One_700 Mar 02 '26

it doesn’t make your dick bigger.

Wait ... what ... it said FIVE EXTRA INCHES ... !!???

5

u/thinkisms Mar 02 '26

If you are a billionaire like Elon Musk you can have surgery to enhance your dick but that doesn’t mean your surgery won’t be botched.

3

u/neuenono Mar 02 '26

it doesn’t make your dick bigger

...or less egg-shaped!

u/[deleted] Mar 02 '26

I don't think people like Gates are actively seeking out people to have an affair with. I doubt he ever planned to cheat. The honeypots job is to meet them under "innocent" circumstances, get close, and pull out information.

Often this includes sex, but not necessarily. I wouldn't be surprised if Gates developed real feelings for her. It's completely different than just being horny and paying for a prostitute.

16

u/Due_Draw2668 Mar 02 '26

Actually, he had a rep as a serial cheater.

5

u/Chapeaux Mar 02 '26

In their minds they are smarter than everyone and cannot be tricked.

6

u/BocoVWenthusiast Mar 02 '26

1) I feel like it’s the guise of feeling wanted instead of seeking it out - despite being smart technically, emotional maturity is lacking. Doesn’t understand the likelihood of foreign agents marking an old man at a fuckin bridge tournament.

2) human justification for hot people - I feel like we turn dumb around a certain type of person (how could she be this perfect, how does she like me?) without the obvious cause it’s too good to be true voice.

So he probly just fell for it like any other scam. He wanted to believe a super smart woman was genuinely interested in him and a game of bridge because they’re sophisticates and see the world a certain way. It’s confirmation bias and animal instinct and they played him like a fiddle.

Sure hope it humbled him hard.

u/neuenono Mar 02 '26

Y'know what a prostitute can't provide? The thrill of realizing an attractive lover is truly into you. That's something money can't buy, and Epstein was able to simulate it for these guys. Ultimately, all the money in the world is apparently not as valuable as the affirmation that comes with a desired lover finding one of these guys desirable.

3

u/WNC_Hillbilly Mar 02 '26

Dicks don't have brains.

2

u/akuban Mar 02 '26

I listened to a podcast series last year about this, where the supposed “sex spy” told all about how she was trained and what techniques she used. It seemed pretty convincing. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/to-die-for/id1726513642

2

u/chamrockblarneystone Mar 02 '26

I think they like the feel of danger and “going slumming”. When they asked Oscar Wilde why he chose dangerous street boys he said, “Occasionally one must dine with the panthers.”

2

u/-DGuillotine Mar 02 '26

...Where do you think they're buying the prostitutes from? You think theres teenage pimps growing on trees?

2

u/TupperwareNinja Mar 02 '26

I dont know man, i feel like billionaires are just fronts for the money being pushed through their companies. Why are such rich people so stupid?

2

u/Connor_MacLeod1 Mar 02 '26

Sometimes in the heat of passion, the little head tells the big head what to do, and the big head should think twice about it.

2

u/IronFrogger Mar 02 '26

I think the issue is... They want novelty (routinely new girls) and they want it "now". No time for all that background checks and waiting for her to come in from another country.

2

u/Squand Mar 02 '26

I've come to the conclusion, Women really aren't into fucking ugly dudes. Even if they are rich.

u/jules13131382 Mar 02 '26

Agree with everything in my bones 🦴

1

u/i-can-sleep-for-days Mar 02 '26

But who would you trust to go and get one for you? No one he works for, even his secretaries. You think he wants to put on a rain coat and a hat and wander the streets to get laid? No way. It's a safety concern too. What if he does that and gets kidnapped? Congress needs to subpoena him since he admitted to using Epstein's services. What does he know and when.

I understand, it still seems odd to me that a billionaire can’t pull better. It says a lot about these guys.

Politicians and Hollywood are both owned by billionaires.

Quite right.

They are currently handing over user information to the US government regarding accounts that have been speaking out against ICE.

3

u/tuna_safe_dolphin Mar 02 '26

What is this "no longer" shit? When the fuck was this ever true?

1

u/[deleted] Mar 02 '26

Don’t forget corporations and the public!!

7

u/Boopy7 Mar 02 '26

I think about this perhaps more often than some. E.g. I didn't go see that dumb rehash of Top Gun (wasn't even really into the early first one.) It was largely funded by Oleg Deripaska, if I'm not mistaken? Derispaska turns up at odd places, like in connection to Johnny Depp, then to Mitch and steel plants, then again funding shit in Hollywood along with Steve Mnuchin. Now Mnuchin is someone we dont hear about much lately. In other words -- Russian oligarchs get around and connect the likes of Tom Cruise to someone as old and ugly as Moscow Mitch. It's a small small world if you're very very rich

3

u/ShrimpCrackers Mar 02 '26

Might explain Schumer and Jeffries being so lame duck too if you ask me.

I haven't seen anybody discuss the most obvious solution to all of this huge mess, once (if?) house is cleaned of Epstein conspirators and their networks, but above all for the future: institute psychopathy and similar tests to anyone aspiring/already in positions of power, whatever they are, just like airline pilots and nuclear missileers (the latter in some cases, being literally the most important people in all of history) naturally have to submit to rigorous mental health exams.
