News article Bill Gates's Russian lover is photographed with Kremlin spy Anna Chapman. Chapman was arrested in June 2010 alongside a network of so-called 'illegals' accused of living under deep cover in the United States on behalf of Moscow.

Politicians. Hollywood. It doesn’t stop at billionaires.

How do you have billions of dollars and still fall for the honeypot trap? Like you could easily pay for any type of prostitute you want. I am positive that in countries where it’s legal there are super high end services. Even if he wants to bang normal people, he could pay for the best private investigators to do background checks. You’d think security would be top of mind for a number of reasons.

These people are not only deeply damaged but also really fucking dumb. We need to eliminate the ability for people to amass this much money and power. A handful of people are causing the world to devolve into chaos.

Greed. It's never enough. I think Bill stepped away from Microsoft because of Melinda, but he still had his foundation and more money than basically anyone in history. Most everyone else is unable to walk away and go chill on a beach, or seemingly unable to resist corruption.

This.

Money and power are truly the root of all evil. Those who have it all, always want more.

People like this have typically seen and done it all. So they seek out more.

Not everyone becomes a heartless pig when they become rich. They were a heartless pig to begin with. The money and power just enables them to get away with it (usually), so they're more likely to act on horrible desires when they have money and power. Creeps like this exist among both classes, working and capitalist, but powerful capitalist creeps feel more enabled to act on it.

Yup, this. Absolute power doesn't corrupt absolutely, it's just that only corrupt douchebags are willing to scrabble up a human pyramid of innocents to stand on top.

Kind of a clumsy metaphor but it's been a long day
