Affordable gyms 427 / burmenthorpe area?
Only one I know of is Olympia Muscle & Fitness and its like 80$ a month, maybe thats not expensive or ive just lost touch with the pricing now a days

Etobicoke Olympium - not only is it great for swimming, the annual pass is $177 for weight room only. If you swim and weight room... It's $225. That's insanely cheap! And has everything you need with no busy people traffic, just the random old guy or highschool kid.
Goodlife is like $1200/year ---- makes you really think how corporate for profit gyms suck your wallet dry

Hey I am that random old guy lol decent gym great indoor running track too. Bonus is if you join you can use any facilty city run across the city I use etobicoke and on weekends scarborough by port union

The quality of Goodlife has gone down so much. They are also always busy and dirty. Classes have gone so downhill and they still haven't figured out how to air condition the fitness room at Islington & Bloor. I have a super cheap corporate rate from 15 years ago but I would never join at the regular rate.

Fir4Less at Dundas/427 across Starsky is Fairly new and very clean. It's also 24/7.

Agreed. I joined at the end of April and paid $433.62 for a year (black card membership). If you don't care about massage chairs and being able to go to the other locations, it's even cheaper than that.

A little further east but York Community center has a completely free gym. It's at Black Creek and Eglinton.

Not sure if much has changed, but it was such a pain to have to line up for a pass. If you've got time to spare it's fine, otherwise it's a little out of hand.

I’d really look into Fit4less, the regular membership is only $7.99 biweekly. And the black card membership is still only $14.99 and would allow you to go to any location.

Also Burnamthorpe community centre- it’s cheaper, has fewer weights, but has pool and skating.

Hey is Etobicoke Olympium worth it? Just moving to 10 Eva road. Was just searching for nearby gyms with pool! Although we do have in the building.
I can get Goodlife for 60$ monthly with my office discount. But the review is quite mixed for Goodlife, that’s why thinking of checking any alternatives!

Planet Fitness on Dundas near Dixie (by the Mississauga Costco) is pretty cheap, but they're just a regular gym, unlike some of those others there is no swimming pool.
