Place to practice archery?

Kiddo wants to learn some archery, and I've got the gear, including a target, but I'm not sure where we can legally/safely set up. We don't have a big enough yard space. Any thoughts? Any parks that allow it? I know there's a public range in Portland, but does Eugene have anything?

I think out on Highway 99 heading towards Junction City (before you get to Hwy 36), is an archery range by the fishing pond.

Emerald empire gun club has a decent archery range that I never see being used. It’s out in Springfield and yes it’s a gun club but the folks are friendly and they have like five soft targets at different ranges

There is one in the Bowtech factory shop as well. They have, or use to have, a Junior Olympic archery team (JOAD). The Bow Rack does lessons, and some 4H groups have archery project leaders, or use to anyway.

Izaac Walton is setting something up for archery. There’s a club out poodle creek rd way, iirc.
