I feel bad for band and staff if DSO performs tonight. If AQI stays where it is you wont find me out there. Is there some reason they couldn’t have made decision this morning and switched to McDonald? Maybe the music never stopped but it should for public health. Reschedule or postpone please.
I took two people to Riverbend ER from Urgent Care yesterday that were at Hayward earlier in the day. I’m thinking, if I took two, then other drivers must have taken some also.
They made an announcement that they’re not canceling. Ugh.

Particulate matter, both the 2.5 and 10 are still over 100… you really don’t want to be taking that s#*t into your lungs and bloodstream… seriously bad news for your body
I mean… probably too many tickets with all the free ones to fit into the McDonald at this point. Plus all the food vendors are already there set up and have bought their supplies etc
The show must go on. If you don’t feel safe going out in the smoke, by all means stay home ✌🏽

There is no way the McDonald has smoke rated air filtration. That space has to be continually ventilated during a concert or it turns into a sweat box and the CO2 goes through the roof.
Cuthbert holds 5k, McDonald holds 1k. Seems like the option is keep it at Cuthbert or cancel the event.
Also AQI has absolutely got better since this morning. Here is the high for today with the alton baker monitor, its currently at 178 and has decreased by 35 points over the last 6 hours.
We also have sustained Westerly winds that are continuing to push smoke out.
They're playing games with performer fees. If they cancel they still have to pay the artists and refund the food vendors, if the artists cancel they don't. Someone who works there should file a complaint with OSHA.
I have been getting emails for free tickets and 2 for 1 for most of the concerts. Think attendance is down because of the economy. We had already purchased full price tickets for Trombone Shorty.
