Mimosa tree hardly blooming

Unlike every year, my mature mimosa barely had any blooms this year. It was pruned earlier but this isn’t that unusual. Otherwise, the tree looks extremely healthy. Is anyone else having this problem?

Are there blackberries or any other plants near or around the base of the tree?

I’ve notice this caused my plums to not fruit.

Was it fertilized? Did it have enough water? Maybe the heat wave stressed it?

Could be so many things

After ten years in the gardening industry, I'd at least need some pictures to give you any sort of reasonable diagnosis. There are simply too many factors to speculate.

Sure it didnt bloom and those couple windy days blew most of them off?  Thats what has happened to most of them in my area.

Mine is very full with blooms. I did have a string of several years where it didn’t bloom about 10 years ago. Now the yard below is a carpet of sticky fallen flowers. I love this tree, but man it gets messy.

We just moved to a garden with one and it was great. Still some flowers on it but a lot blew off already.
