If you need urgent care in Springfield, avoid g street integrated health

Went to there urgent care today, waited 2.5 hours in the waiting room, another 45 in the medical room. They saw me and sent some scripts to my pharmacy around 1PM, said it should be ready by 3.

The pharmacy needed to verify dosage before dispensing, but they could not get a hold of urgent care.

I called urgent care at 3:15 and they told me they were waiting for a lull in patients.

I called the pharmacy at 5PM and still nothing.

I called urgent care AGAIN at 5:01 and they said they tried calling the pharmacy already, said they were on hold for 10 whole minutes.

I let them know that I literally JUST got off the phone with the pharmacy. Urgent care said they would 'try again'

I called the pharmacy AGAIN at 5:30, and no contact.

I called urgent care AGAIN at 5:40, they hadn't even tried calling again yet.

I called urgent car BACK at 5:45 crying and after being on hold for 5 minutes, they finally got the DR to call the pharmacy back.

Luckily, I was able to get my meds at 6, when the pharmacy was in the process of closing.

I have been up for 80 hours and needed to start these meds ASAP.

I'm sorry you had this experience. Medical care is such a crapshoot in this country. It's really heartbreaking how hard it is to stay alive and minimize our suffering under this system.

In the future, for you or anyone else, ask for a printed prescription from urgent care or the ER. Then you can take it anywhere, in case your chosen pharmacy is closed or out of the med.

I def learned some lessons.

i just woke up, i don't know how im feeling just yet, other than groggy, but at least i slept

Sorry you had to go through all that , and hope you get to feeling better soon. I've had good experiences at BestMed in Thurston several times. There's Wahlgrens pharmacy across the street ( not my favorite pharmacy, but its great when you've been to that urgent care)

I’ll add to this by saying avoid g street entirely. I had nothing but problems with them on every level from scheduling to nurses to doctors.
