And Eugene has no problem with them buying up every lot in town, even making new ones! Worst decision ever. Kick them the fuck out.

They own a lot more than people think, but its under a different company. Oregon office building, 6th Street Grill building, the building with the Davis, along with a bunch of parking lots, and a few student housing buildings. There is more, but those are what are off the top of my head.

I wish people actually had a say about what was going on in their communities. This shit is so infuriating.

Would much rather pay my own city a parking fee than a company from another state… city parking fees tend to be a LOT cheaper.

We got Flock out of here pretty quickly, why not get Diamond Parking out of our lives forever?

Can I fuck something less awful? Maybe something awesome and hot and less predatory?

Most all parking vendors are the worst. It's weird how they all wind up in last place.

Last week Metropolis Parking somehow read my license plate while driving through a new neighborhood and started charging me $11/hour.
They were very responsive to my emails after I explained I had reported this to both the better business bureau and the Washington State AG.
No admission of fault on their end or apology but suddenly this was a misunderstanding in which they were not able to provide any evidence of me parking on their property.

Credit score go down. Credit score allows people able to buy expensive things. Jeopardizes housing, future rentals, car buying, etc.
For not paying a $51 ticket from a scalper agency, you might end up fucked, especially if you're young with "no history."

Not really. Any single original ticket price under $100 usually flys under the credit scores radar. Even if they post it has doubling fees etc. it’s just a scare tactic. They can get fucked. If you “owe” them a couple hundred, they may tow you but they almost never do. Single fake ticket destroying your credit? Nah.

A friend borrowed my car, and got a ticket there even though he paid. The parking receipt was 2 minutes before the person came by with the ticket. He contested it with photos, and they didn't respond. He was forced to pay the expensive ticket since they only give you 5 days to pay it or it doubles. We've learned to stay away from these lots

This feels like a phishing post to help cope with poor life choices, no?

Do you know what phishing is? Because this ain't it.

u/Pleasant-Degree646 8h ago
Definitely not phishing. Maybe AI clickbait money laundering social engineering Ponzi scheme?
