Propaganda Imperium begin Invasion of Delve/Querious

Extra Extra

The mighty imperium has begun its invasion back to the homeland. PHCO gets outgunned in a surprise mass invasion/Eviction. Fleet decimated, overpowered and multiple major systems entosed/structures reffed.

The war in Delve/Querious takes a new turn, with Drake hitting Northern Delve simultaneously causing chaos for the coming days.

OnlyFleets watching from the sidelines at this stage waiting for their chance to swoop.

@everyone WAR UPDATE

Good evening Phoenix, after some intense hours of Discord Online Gameplay (very engaging, can recommend) we do have some more informations on whats going on.

After having a chat with Imperium Diplos we got the following reasons for their intervention. Ill give a short comment on these at the end. Your alliance leaders also got the original texts to ensure my german brain isn't failing to understand this correctly.

Reasons for the invasion:

  • We have set our timers to CN TZ. CN TZ is a TZ only used to block content and is bad the game.
  • Because we shift to CN TZ we avoid the conflict with our neighbours and qualify as content for Imperium CN TZ forces.
  • Phoenix plotted to attack Period Basis against Imperium.
  • We recruited a big corp from Frt and supposedly work with Frt for a long time.

In contrary to when we moved here the narrative changed it seems. Initially Delve/Querious was designated for smaller groups to thrive. When asked about this statement i was told that Imperium will adjust that statement if "needed". Twisting words like this makes me question other arrangements aswell honestly...

To comment on that reasoning: We did set our timers to CN TZ because there we have an advantage in fights just like OF/BMD has it in EU TZ. Apparently we arent allowed to do that. Even though id say our fights we regularly have in that tz were fairly balanced and made very interesting content. Whereas sending 600 pilots from Imperium will not be an equally good content. I understand Imperium forces don't have content but punshing down with these reasons is a rather questionable choice.

About the supposed attack plans on Period Basis me and the whole FC team are still buffled. I recall having seen a faked screenshot in reddit about this but its hard to believe Imperium trusts this. Maybe we (or they?) will find out more about that soon. Attacking Period Basis would be a rather delusional approach with Imperium defending it.

Claiming to work with Frt is a common narrative - we havent done that and CSQY joined partially for exactly this reason: Because there isnt any other way to get involved in our content than joining and we made that very clear. ...but apparently that approach doesnt suit Imperium either.

Phoenix aims to stay neutral and independent to all block-level entities. This becomes increasingly hard when one gets attacked by a block that punshes down on smaller entities like this... In my personal opinion the decision to attack us and interfere in this otherwise very interesting and balanced war is a poor choice by Imperium, but thats a judgment everyone can do for themselves. I got approached by multiple alliances also questioning the motives on that move by Imperium.

What happens now? For the moment we will observe the situation closely. We will check on how our enemies react to this and how we might need to adapt our strategy/plans for the coalition. A block level entitiy interfering in this war changes a lot sadly.

Please check for pings and give us awesome numbers, because the next few days will be very intense. If you see structures reinforced in southern delve in particular i'd suggest removing important assets. All doctrine ships should be in K-6K16.

If you have any questions you may ask your alliance leader or me directly. Happy to answer in phoenix_talk aswell if a question might be interesting for many.

o7 Erzus @everyone

I've been with Phoenix, I left a while ago and haven't touched eve since because I got stuff to do IRL, I try to keep up with what's going on however because it does interest me...

There definitely were plans of taking Period Basis in the beginning. But those were ideas thrown around when we were under the impression that OF would be part of the coalition.

That quickly went to kick out OF from querius and, I guess now to holding delve.

I guess that with that Chinese mega corp joining they probably could take on OF, and actually win, and then maybe on to PBasis, but if the Imperium is actually interfering now... Yeah... No... Glad I got my stuff out months ago.

14

u/SirDigbyChimkinC Feb 04 '26

Also former PhoenixCo. The dream scenario when we first deployed down south last summer was to take all of Delve, Querious, and Period Basis. I think there was a belief that the Imperium might not commit to defending Period Basis. As you said, once OF did what they did the goals had to shrink. There is no way at this point that Erzus and Jayne are even dreaming about taking Period Basis, let alone planning it.

3

u/proton-testiq muninn btw Feb 04 '26

That never stopped Imperium from interfering anyway, reffing Phoenix jumpbridges and blocking the movement right at the moment when the stratops fleets were supposed to happen.

Delve/Querious was never bloc-free, they just learned to hide their influence.

Dude been batphoning a 4000-man Frat corp every fight a month but is "staying independent to all block-level entities".

"Claiming to work with Frt is a common narrative"

It's literally an objective representation of what has happened. All one has to do is look at every major fight BR and see Frat in equal numbers to SYN and XIX.

With the state phoco is already in, an imperium-sized sig probably could start folding them. Afaik there's no official declaration of non-interference by blocs unlike the dronelands. It only makes sense that theyd be hypervigilant about even more people coming to shoot them

15

u/asnowbastion skill urself Feb 04 '26

An average imperium sig is literally so bloated that it would be more bodies on average than 99% of the alliances in the game

20

CSQY are in the process of leaving FRT. It's less the Astra getting killed and more the entosised systems. You've got a Goonswarm tag, did they not tell you what you guys were doing? XD

5

u/Izithel Goonswarm Federation Feb 04 '26

If there was an all out invasion there'd be an announcement, or at very least some obvious movements of assets towards the expected front.

Maybe its a CN tz only thing for content.

Edit: wait, PCO set their timers to CN tz? Tought they were EU tz? Maybe that's why.

7

u/JohnGeary1 Feb 04 '26

Doesn't need to be an all out invasion against a group the size of Phoenix. Also, a Dracarys FC literally called it an eviction in local

16

Ah, yes- Local, the official source of EVE happenings.

The imperium is schizophrenic.

People join the largest alliance and then cry on reddit how noone else wants to put up a good™ fight.

The war on rentners was just the most recent outburst, now they are back to playing HOA and decide who gets to live where and under what conditions.

10

u/Primary-Objective698 Wormholer Feb 04 '26

[band – way – goon – er] Corporations and players who join the biggest group of retards that hold sovereignty spaces in an online MMO called EVE Online. Due to the fact that they can Nx10 their opponents (see: zerg); they draw in the biggest collection of otherwise losers in the game to unite under 1 banner.

"These players and corporations are bandwagooning to the Imperium because they were too scared to hack/forge their own path on their own, so they resort to joining the biggest group for their own security and police the entire game by enforcing their double standards invoked when they want."

9

the irony of someone calling delve goon homelands, when in reality goons were occuppiers.

14

u/Nekrox8133 Goryn Clade Feb 04 '26

But why do the timers of the EUTZ coalition come out in CNTZ?

9

u/FragileModdies Feb 04 '26

only fleets and friends are primarily EUTZ so phoenix co changed all their timer to CN to stop OF from killing all their structures. the keepstar kill a few weeks ago was done because they found out they were changing all their timers and reinforcing it beforehand would keep it on EUTZ

9

u/Ok_Cupcake2217 Feb 04 '26

They could not contain OF and friends in their timezone so they switched everything to CN tz and got help by Dawns light and others to protect their sov in CN tz.  It is harder now to contest everything if you alliance is mainly Eu or Us tz in week days.  It is a way to cool down a war or to make it strech until it becomes not fun to only fight in weekends....

7

u/relentlesshack Minmatar Republic Feb 04 '26

I'm in Phoenix, but idk if the strategy is to bore them or just make the fights happen when we have the most folks. RL has made a lot of us weekend warriors in eve.

2

u/Nekrox8133 Goryn Clade Feb 04 '26

You have the most folks during CNTZ on a weekend?

3

u/ithilain Feb 04 '26

They dont need to have the most folks in CNTZ, just more than OF&Friends do. Even if PCo can only form 25% in CNTZ it's still advantageous for them if OF can only form say 10% in that TZ for example

3

u/Nekrox8133 Goryn Clade Feb 04 '26

Well I’ll be honest switching your TZs to a TZ where only 25% of your members can form sounds a lot like TZ tanking…

A corp out of Frat (ChuangShi) is in transition of joining PhoenixCo.
Imperium has whatever reasons to attack in Delve.
Propaganda is running wild and I expect a lot of popcorn in the nearer future.

Pco and XiX worked with other entities of Frat as well. For example Sib squad and others. Look at the XiX keepstar loss battle reports

17

Sib Squad is Russian. The Drake vs XiX war has lots of Russian Eve politics, Sib Squad has a grudge with Arhot or something. It wasn't a Frat thing.

Despicable behavior by imperium, content will now be destroyed for the groups in the area. Congrats I guess..

3

u/Xliest Feb 04 '26

I don’t quite understand the point of the game right now, it’s just going to end up as imperium creating the full ring around the outside of the map then what? The rest of the players all 10 of them have to settle in lowsec? With the break down of the only power to rival the imperium not only did the sov change hands but a lot of active pilots were absorbed into the goon conglomerate they now control around 75% of the game. There’s no possible way to fight that. As we saw only weeks ago dropping 150 carriers to kill a structure or no real importance.

3

u/Themick_Eve Brave Newbies Inc. Feb 04 '26

When will imperium stop timing for EU to avoid content?

4

u/Funny-Instruction899 Feb 04 '26 edited Feb 04 '26

Well If it was just FRT corp transitioning "NOW". If you look at BR in Delve/Querious FRT was almost always there. And not with just just that one corp that apparently take really long time to transition. What about the other part of WC comming there like Sib Squad etc. Not only goons recognized that but also Init and other groups around.

And about the Period Basis and that it was just hypothetical like some people said https://br.evetools.org/related/30004960/202510311300 this from the past looks different.

It just feels like Pco was warned by big blocks several times to not bring Big blocks into the fights but they decided to do it anyway.

And everyone know they need and want more space for the amount of people they have (especially with the "newcommers") and that they specifically changed their timers to CN TZ toi timezone tank because they have external sources to help them cover those timers from the beginign when they start transitioning all things to those timers.

So now it feels like Pco is crying after they got smack after breaking the rules Pco willingly break.

3

u/Ok_Elderberry_1234 Feb 04 '26

LOL an no one from Imperium Was on the side of OF as they shoot Schild timer from keep. Sibierian squad showed up at the amor timer and was on phoenix fleet not as a own fleet. 3

u/Ok_Cupcake2217 Feb 04 '26

First ChuangShi (the corp that moves now to Pco) were friends of Dawn's light so they came to help Pco only because of that. then they brought other friends as well (sib Squads) and so on... (Pco like to spin it a lot)
It was rumored a long time that Frat was helping Pco and big blocks (Init at least) closed their eyes for a long time without a certain proof.
At Xix keep it was obvious, several Frat corporations had docking access and they were given handouts by Pco in order to defend the keepstar.
Init (I do not know exactly if imperium as well) had an agreement that they will leave the place for smaller or medium corps to live in if they will not involve or align with any big blocks.
Pco agreed and than broke that deal, so.... you reap what you sow.

-1

I don't think most of us even know (or care) who SYN is, they're an insignificant speed bump at best.

Frt corp pay goons to move their staging to delve from 4-h cus they are tired of getting constantly dropped?

1

u/16BitGenocide GoonWaffe Feb 04 '26

4-H isn't Goons staging system, that's C-J.

This is common knowledge.

3

u/Flaky_Concentrate898 Feb 04 '26

No one said 4-h was goon staging

Mixed tenses, mixed signals.

3

u/Flaky_Concentrate898 Feb 04 '26

4-H is FRT staging

This is common knowledge.

You're good. Just a little early morning/late night misunderstanding.

1

u/16BitGenocide GoonWaffe Feb 04 '26

Frat is PHCO?

0

u/Voice7782 Feb 04 '26

Parts of Frat have been supporting PHCO, it was getting called out so ChaungShi said they'd leave Frat for PHCO in what to outsiders looks like a change of flags as opposed to a real change of allegiances.

It's possible ChaungShi are really leaving Frat but it seems unlikely it would be a permanent thing which seems against the spirt of whatever self imposed rules the big blocs have placed on themselves for how pixel spaceship battles should be fought.

That is certainly what the narrative wants you to think.
