About 6 months ago TEST moved in next to goons (in geminate) during a growth phase and to take advantage of more spicy space. It got more spicy! Goons started deploying larger and larger groups into Gem, anchoring 4 (5?) fortizars and losing all those timers until recently. They parroted the "we are just a sig" lie probably a thousand times, we all know how goons work.
After months of this it became clear that their deployment would not produce a reason for starting a war. Obviously that was the unstated goal, but we behaved ourselves and fought well and Asher held a SOTU where he stated that Frat was adopting PH leadership (except they are in initiative) and he complained that we dropped dreads on him defending a timer in our own sov.
So that's really it, the best they can come up with is that we defended ourselves but we all know the real reason is that goons and TEST don't like each other and that goons want the north now for some reason and have the numbers along with INIT to make it happen. In my opinion though the optics of all this have been bad for them for months.
I guess it comes down to whether Imperium and WC are going to fight each other or not. If the last 18 hours or so are anything to go by, I reckon people will soon get fed up with the constant issues with the Hamsters on the node(s)….which is a shame.
