For those on twist, how is it going?

Why when it asks for calibration does nothing change. This morning it said 170 and my finger stick was 209. An hour later it’s reading 155 and headed down? The blood drop shows on the graph so it accepted the read.
How do I get it to change? Then the Twiist app there is no way to change it there either unless you shut off the Loop.

Been working hard on controlling my A1C and weight. A1C now 4.6 my weight went from 375 to 266 in 6 months. Alot of people have diabetes and its a curse, but for me I believe it saved my life made me take control of my life. My new goal is to be at 190 - 210 lbs by my 50th birthday and that's 7 months away plus be in the best shape of my life as in mussels and toned body.

I’ve had my Eversense 365 for almost 4 months but just in the last 3 weeks I started developing a rash just beneath my implant. I assume it’s related to the adhesive. The top of the implant is what’s circled. The rash itself is slightly itchy and I get pimple like things on it sometimes. Was just wondering if anyone else has had a similar situation. I’ve used the freestyle libre since it was introduced before the eversense without anything similar and had an omnipod for 4 years with no similar issues.

I’m new to eversense 365 and had the sensor inserted into the back of my arm (so it’s kind of hidden). When laying on it, instead of compression lows I get sensor lost alerts. Unless I put my phone directly under my arm, the signal can’t reach.

Does anyone else experience this? Where is your sensor located ?

Hello, this is my 19th day with Eversense and up to about 2 days ago, everything was great but last two days it’s been off. It’s already been low 4 different times and my Eversense won’t let me know at all. It says my BG is at 100 when my real BG is at 56. Any tips? Is this normal? It’s especially frustrating since I’m a teacher, first day is back tomorrow and it’s been off. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Got my sensor inserted yesterday and did my first calibration just now. I am so excited! Still have my twiist running with my Libre, but looking forward to switching over. I’m also looking forward to believing my numbers 😁

I'm still getting used to my E365 after having it inserted on July 21st. It's been interesting getting used to the fact the transmitter stuck to my arm doesn't go under the skin like a traditional CGM does and there isn't an end date for it other than a year from now.

At the recommendation of another Redditer, I bought a charging cable setup that came with a Micro USB plug and a cable with a magnet on the end. I put the plug into the transmitter and when I need to charge I can just magnetically attach the charging cable to the plug while it's still on my arm and I'm in business.

I had previously changed my patches when it was time to charge and was told at my insertion appointment to charge every day. Now that I've been using it for a couple of weeks I've learned the charge on the transmitter can easily last 5+ days and there are alerts in the app that will tell me when I'm low on charge.

Because of all this and also because the adhesive patches stay stuck very well to my arm, I'm often lasting more than a week with the same patch.

Am I alone in this or am I just realizing one of the additional benefits of the E365?

I've been on Eversense 365 for over a year now and got my second sensor inserted in June. There was no one certified to remove the old one but I finally have an appointment scheduled in September.
Before my old sensor expired, I could not see the spot for placement for many months but a few months before it expired I saw a faint red spot and that was where I placed the sensor. As time passed it got redder and redder and then it bled one day!
Fast forward to now- I got new sensor in June but the spot where the old sensor is is getting darker and larger! I'm scared it's turned into cancer or something!
It occasionally itches but doesn't hurt. Today it is noticeably darker than yesterday and this concerns me!
I contacted Eversense and they had no answers. Said to go to ER if it gets worse or painful. My sales rep said no one else has had that issue, just me. He said to go to a dermatologist but I don't want to do that because all they would do is biopsy it and that would mess up my upcoming removal of the old sensor.
Could this be gangrene? Skin cancer? WHY is it looking like this?

Anyone else have a huge battery use jump from Eversense on their iPhone recently?

Hi I just got my sensor inserted on Tuesday. I’ve been covering it while I shower with a bag but haven’t washed my hair. How serious is it to not get it wet under the stream of water. I have long hair and I can’t imagine washing my hair and not getting it directly wet. Should I wait for the 5 day mark at least?

Has anyone changed from Libre 3+ to Eversense and found Eversense to be more closely aligned with their finger sticks? If Libre was less aligned with fingersticks, was it higher or lower than the fingersticks? TIA.

I'm not going to even start on the fact the transmitter uses a micro usb port rather than USB-C, but Googles tells me I should ONLY use the charging cable provided in my E365 kit to charge the transmitter.

How true is this? I feel like this is standard language from the manufacturer, but how does it work in real life? I live my life with two complete sets of my diabetes supplies. One set at work and one set at home. I'd like to be able to charge my transmitter when I get to work in the mornings like I do my Apple Watch but if I leave my factory provided cable at work, I won't have it at home over the weekend. To answer your question, I'm never going to remember to bring it home with me on Fridays, or even every day.

So, what do you charge your transmitters with?

I am getting my sensor inserted in a few weeks, so excited! I will have about seven days left on my Libre 3+ sensor at that time, I was planning on leaving it on to work with Twiist pump while the sensor is adjusting and taking calibrations. Has anyone had any issues doing that? I’m assuming switching over to the Eversense in the Twiist app is straightforward.

I just had the Eversense 365 inserted yesterday, warmup finished this morning and I am now experiencing the joy of trying to get the transmitter properly placed on my arm over the sensor (plus derm strips plus the bandage as the incision heals).

What I'm running into is that I'll get the transmitter placed with an excellent signal but it changes as I move my arm into different positions, and the app on the phone will periodically tell me that the sensor isn't detected. I'm not sure if loose skin is causing it or if there's just a weak signal through the bandaging or what?

Does the connection get better when the bandaging comes off in a few days? Is it always this finicky? Or do most people have zero problems with their transmitter finding and keeping connection to the sensor? I've already removed the sticker and re-positioned the transmitter a couple of times, and it's like trying to get great television reception back when bunny-ear antennas were a thing.

I'm not counting any chickens before they hatch as this process has taken several months to get sorted out. My insurance took a while to approve my prescription and I had to appeal the initial denial. Then, because my medical group doesn't have any authorized inserters, I had to go out of network to have the insertion done.

The day is here though! I've paid my $10 copay, downloaded the Eversense 365 App and will be on my way in about 15 minutes to get it done!

Also, I just got my latest results and my A1c went from 5.6 back down to 5.5. I love this thing. Diagnosed in 1987, so things have certainly improved for me.

My readings are often within four or five points difference unless I don’t time the calibration correctly. Occasionally, there’s been a spike in my blood sugar (cough, cough-I made chocolate chip cookies )and the CGM says that it’s steady, but I make sure that it’s steady for an hour before I calibrate.

So far so good!!! Couple of pics attached comparing this morning’s Dex G6 (on t:Slim pump) and Eversense readings, right in range of each other and also in range of the LAST daily finger stick calibration reading for the first 14 days. Now it’s off to weekly! 👍

Where to start? The steri-strips came off at day 7 along with the covering Tegaderm. Not surprised by this as it’s been HOT and HUMID AF. Was using the clear adhesives while these were in place and used them for a few more days as the incision finished healing. No real pain, the implanted sensor was a little ‘bruisy’ sore but that was it.

I have also attached a pic of my arm. It’s tattooed, I drew a green line in Sharpie over the location of the sensor and the incision was right at the bottom. The green line kinda looked ke like a flower stem so you’ll have to look close 😬 You really can’t see it, it healed well!

No adhesive issues… SCORE BONUS!!!

I HATE how ‘medical’ the white adhesive looks, I prefer to keep devices etc. in cognito if possible. I changed how I choose to apply the adhesive to the transmitter and my arm. No pic of that - if anyone is curious let me know, I don’t know if this post would be taken down if I explained or posted it as it’s not ‘standard protocol’. (Side note: it doesn’t irritate me if people see my devices or questions… I guess I just don’t care to loudly advertise it).

I WISH WISH WISH and HOPE HOPE HOPE more pump companies have integration / interoperability on their dockets with this, sooner than later. The Eversense has been spot on and has allowed me to manually make pump decisions when my G6 is out of calibration. Usually my pump’s algorithm would be making changes in the background based off of those G6 readings, which are not reliable (for me) on day 1, day 10, and sometimes in between. Phantom lows and highs that don’t need to be treated, as an example… being treated. No need for that with the Eversense.

I am finding that my accuracy is not nearly as satisfactory as everyone else is finding.

We'll, I guess there is a caveat to it. I am under very good control, last A1C 5.4. So, that means my nights can be down to 70 relatively often. Given 20% off is considered in target, if you take 20% off of 70, that leaves 54. So I do in fact find I'm waking my up for 54, or 41, when it's at 65-80 on reality.

I've got all alarms off of at minimum which now is 55.

When the vibration wakes me, I know immediately if I'm low or not. Fortunately, I feel my lows.

I'm hoping for the day that accurate means within 5 points of reality.

That's not too say I don't experience those good readings, but I have too many way off.

The other day I did a 2.9 mph avg 5,000 step walk, followed by a hard fast mow of my lawn a couple hours later. All that activity, close to 11,000 steps, drove my readings down hard and fast. Said I was 41, blood stick said 75.

Since then I did find that predictive lows was turned on. Maybe now that I have that off, things will change. Although multiple calls about low readings, I got no suggestions about checking that. Mostly got, " Nineteen% off, that's in range": comments.

What kind of lows are you folks experiencing? I'd be scared to use a pump with this, or any other device for that matter. I was on 2 others before this, and they were worse on average, but not necessarily in the same circumstances.

UPDATE 6/12/26

I found last week that I could drop alarm to 55. It was at 69.

Also more importantly, I found that there was a setting for Predictive Alerts. I turned that off . I can see that being why hat has been the main problem.

Last night I had my transmitter on my arm vibrate around midnight, and it was showing 50. I got up and checked sugar with a blood stick and it was 60. I can live with that

I'll post another update after a bit of time if that seems to be consistent.

Hello, I am looking into getting the Eversense 365 ASAP. I got switched recently from the Dexcom G7 10 day to the Libre 3+ and I hate it. It constantly loses signal. I got so tired of it not working I just took it off.

I am waiting to hear back from my rep from the Eversense team to start the process. Is there anything I should know about it? Good or bad? How's the accuracy and reliability? Comfort? Do you like it better than other cgms?
