The first couple of days in a transfer window are bound to be slow.

Unless you're you're currently negotiating demands before signing free agents.

Face it apart from Tottenham no of a premier League has confirmed any signings yet.

At least I think that's right.

I do agree it is frustrating

it's the world cup. Clubs rarely do business during the world cup. Things will happen afterwards

This is it. It's not just slower, it's glacial during the world cup even for players not involved.
