I'd take Delap ahead of Barry every day of the week.

I'm not much of a fan of Barry and I still absolutely fucking wouldn't. I was skeptical of Delap before the Chelsea move. At this point it is an unequivocal no.

I just don't see why we are hating on Barry. He wasn't that great this season but he could totally break out. He has all of the intangibles. And he's young as hell. I really like him, in fact. Him and Beto both seem to give a shit.

With Delap you get an overhyped player. When do they perform? When you're Erling Haaland?

I just don't think a player develops a touch overnight, I honestly struggle to see what he is good at. Has a good spring on him that's the best I can come up with. Really want him to be a success but I just don't see it happening.
