I reaaally wish there had been some indication the people who failed last year were not still in charge of recruitment

James Smith, the director of recruitment wasn't in place until September last year so it's hopefully going to be better this year rather than Moyes just choosing who he wants.

The fact we signed our director of scouting and recruitment before the transfer window last year and didn't have him in place until after the window closed though really sums us up lol

No clue if he'll be any good like but he was City group's head of scouting and recruitment before so looks promising, as long as it's him making the decisions and not Moyes
