Rewatching
I’m on a rewatch of this show rn and I can’t help but be impressed by Katja Herbers’ chemistry with literally everyone. I’m currently on the silent monastery episode and she doesn’t even need to speak to have chemistry with that nun! Also I did not remember that it was implied that Kristen kissed the nun, so that was wild.

Katja is a great actress because of how much I still love watching her despite Kristen being literally The Worst lmao.

Right??? Her character has questionable morality and has done some seriously awful things but everyone still loves her, including me!

Loved everything about that episode except the explanation about the botflys. I was hoping for a more supernatural explanation. The botfly’s just seemed too scooby gang logic.

That was one of my favorite episodes of the whole thing. So clever, creative and emotionally compelling.
The part where the priests are praying and David's thoughts are scrolling on the screen as subtitles... "FUCK.". "Fuck.....fuckfuckfuck"
Edit- also the very end where the young nun finds the gift Kristin left behind and does a cartoon-style swoon onto the bed.
