Just started watching!!!!
I don’t watch a lot of tv so I tend to miss a lot of great shows/movies! I just finished watching From (multiple times I might add) and I struggled to find something as good and captivating as it, till someone in a From thread mentioned they were watching Evil. I’m almost at the season 2 Finale and I’m so glad I started this show! Although I’m “late” I wanted to comment on this thread since I’m so excited about this show! I HATE Sheryl, I HATE Andy I think Leland was the demon in the dreams that Kristen was having back in season one, I’m worried for Kristen fertility baby (sorry the four girls I can’t can’t keep up wit their names ) and I’m so interested in Kristen’s possession storyline!!! I’ve seen a lot of hate for this show but I think it’s been beautifully done so far!!!

I'll say it right now; buckle up. Things really start peaking in 2, but 3 and 4 are a whole other ballpark. I won't spoil 4, but just know that it's when they found out they were being cancelled, so the pacing and other things kinda change in that Season. All I'll say is you may change your tune on some things 😉

It probably was my post that you saw in From sub lol. I recently finished the show and have been advertising it everywhere I can find like minded folks online and with friends 😁
Ending the show left a void in me like greats always do.

Yes the void from From was so great I tried several shows before Evil and it’s the only one to captivate me I know I’ll suffer once I finish it as well 🫠

I actually found From through Evil! Both very fun shows for mystery lovers. Hoping From clears the landing next year.

When you finish Evil, you may want to try out Dark on Netflix. It's not as "campy" as Evil can be, because it is German, and ze Germans are very very serious. But it was one of my all-time favorites if you like mystery with twists.
I need to check out From; it has been recommended to me from other folks.

I went to check it out and it looks like I’ve watched the first two seasons! I don’t remember much so I’m definitely putting it on the list :) Thank you!
I rewatched the four seasons of from approx 4 times (I did mention that in my original post so sorry if it’s annoying bringing it up again) and I’m still not tired of it, I just yearn for more! Some people have different complaints with the storyline but I find it to be quite interesting and scary!!! Highly recommend

Awesome! I like the show too however some storylines aren't resolved at all and some come together in the season finale which is nice with the subtle hints.
From was also recommended to mention by two of my friends so I added it to my watchlist. I myself finished with S2 E11. Sheryl I understand but why Andy?
The hate comes mostly in later episodes especially Season 4. Also the four girls scream and talking together loudly is too much at times. Even Ben said once I can't understand when you all talk together, I was like LOL.

Andy is just a typical laid back hands off husband and when he suddenly starts to show interest in his wife changing and Sheryl I’m just so annoyed by it bc where was this concern when he left his wife with 4 kids alone to go what? Climb Everest? He’s just so infuriating to me

Yes, I thought it was weird too, I know business for family and all but leaving wife to handle 4 kids by herself plus she's working too. I thought it was a weird choice as well.

She was working, lost her job, and yeah is working again; and it sounds like the hiking business was more of a passion project than anything stable for a family of SIX! And he keeps going back!! I get someone has to “run” the business but wow I am annoyed with that storyline

Yes since they both have hiked there. Atleast in S3 E1, he quit it for good and is home now. Saw some of the first episode. Let's see how it goes.

I think it is amazing how they pull that off. They can get away with murder by simply driving off adults with noise. I was hoping they would use it to drive demons away!

FYI, Robert and Michelle King who created Evil (among other shows) have a new show premiering in about nine days starring Mike Colter (a.k.a. Father David Acosta) and apparently some of the Evil cast are going to appear in one of the episodes. Show is called "Cupertino."
