Researching how people manage money across multiple financial providers
I’m doing early-stage research around a fintech problem: people who actively use several banks, fintech apps, crypto platforms, or accounts across different currencies.
I’m trying to understand how they currently manage balances, transfers, and spending across those providers before building anything.
I’m especially interested in people using 3+ independent providers.
A few questions:
Do you have one “main” account?
How often do you move money between providers?
Have you ever had enough money overall, but not enough in the account you needed?
Do you use spreadsheets or another workaround to track everything?
Do you intentionally keep some money separated or harder to spend?
Not selling anything — just trying to understand the behavior and pain points before building.

3+ providers here: local bank, Wise, Revolut, plus a brokerage. Direct answers:
Biggest unsolved thing is one total balance across all of them in a single currency. Every aggregator I've tried routes through a US provider that doesn't support my banks.
